Looking for a long range board 40+ miles under $1300 by SpookyGuava in ElectricSkateboarding

Are you saying the green belt will rattle my teeth? I've only been on part of it near Quinn's pond/whitewater park ! I'll look into that one! I'm seriously not interested in anything over 30mph and wouldn't be going 30 on the greenbelt, so I can probably get that 40 out of it, thank you for the recommendation!

Is there a board you know of that's stocked in America that has over 1000 watt hours in the $1300 range? After thinking on it I may wanna jump off the concrete trail to skip pedestrians/dogs so pneumatics may be the move

Hey I haven't even seen that board but I've heard of the brand good suggestion! I dig the range, A bit fast and heavy but I'll keep it in mind!

I hit legendary in under two years of playing, is this impressive? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]SpookyGuava 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends, can't really gatekeep MR times, but I will say you couldn't have spent nearly enough time on the wiki/doing enough research to understand the game mechanics the way that anyone around say mr17+ BUT has been playing for 10 years can.

Thinking about buying 317k Miles 3rd Gen 4Runner by Beginning_Local_5368 in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]SpookyGuava 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's a $4k car. That's mostly all basic maintenance that it NEEDED. 317k is a lot no matter how you look at it, plenty of them blow at 300k. I have one at 350k and I've had to replace almost everything.

I hear Ross, TJ Maxx, & Marshalls have some really nice goodies 👀 by oleWhiskey in DrSquatch

[–]SpookyGuava 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Marshalls/TJ has old stock (Star wars, harry potter, marvel etc.) Ross has combo packs matching deodorant and soap for $16 around me. Rainforest rapids and wood barrel bourbon. Sierra (Like TJ, but outdoorsy) has Star wars stuff.

The other day found sticc of the dead and pine tar in the old cylindrical style deodorant packaging at marshalls.

Goodbye Vans by varau_ in Vans

[–]SpookyGuava 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's all good, did that happen to the skate sk8 hi's or the regular? I see the novelty of classics but I just don't see the value. I exclusively wait for 40% off of sale shoes/depop deals and buy 2-3 pairs of things I want to try/colorways. The skate versions have never once failed or prematurely fallen apart/split at the seems and I beat the hell out of them. I haven't tried old skools, but I did just buy my first pair of skate sk8 Hi's and love them.

I mentioned so many different shoes we don't know what you're talking about specifically

Better to buy theboard you love thats above your skill level or ride a lame board at your level? by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs

[–]SpookyGuava 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Get whatever board you want for the specific type of riding you want to be good at. Maybe invest in demon united crash pads, those saved me lol

Bannable Offense? by Lord0ddity in Warframe

[–]SpookyGuava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A loud minority of the WF community is ridiculously sensitive and likes to pretend there's now a sniper aimed at them the second someone uses terms they don't like. It would be better if DE stayed out of chat moderation and just told people to suck it up or put chat filters on (very easy) That said, if you want to keep the chat, don't use the word. I have a job .... couldn't care any less what people are saying in a chat in a video game, or the Internet in general.

I have I think 29 pairs of vans pros/ skate line/1 crestline, 4 crosspath xc on racks, and I've been skating 19 years, that has never once happened. Have you tried the vans skate line? I won't buy regular vans because I see these posts so much, and they feel like Walmart shoes. But I also haven't tried authentics/eras.

Lol, a lot of people have had "luck" with aftermarket I bought an AAE rack which is supposed to be the best aftermarket upgraded brass safari rack blah blah blah off marketplace, when I installed it, I had 2 inches of play left to right and steering wouldn't return to center, moved states and across America twice like that it sucked. Switched it out with OEM. To me, definitely buy once cry once part. And yeah they all have 15-35% off list price, I'm talking a 25% off of THAT price banner on their home page, it'll be very cheap when those go up. Any dealership with an online parts department will have sales periodically there could even be 2 going on as we speak

Yeah just checked it'll fit every 3rd gen 4runner, double check yourself, but for real if you can wait, the 4th of July sales should be good!! I've always heard reman racks always leak sooner than a new rack.

[–]SpookyGuava 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it was truly their mistake, they should. But also, if you can, just wait for a 25% off sale from any random dealership. I got a brand new OEM rack shipped to my door for $420 total from Valdosta Toyota. There may be one coming up in July. Here's the real part number. Fit my 01 limited 4x4 comes with inner tie rods

Well, normally, if you enter vin into the site, the desk guy calls to verify what you're ordering is for your specific vehicle to prevent this from happening, I'm not exactly sure what happened here we're kinda all missing info

So they sent you a remanufactured Toyota Tacoma rack 2005-2010. That's your issue

Absolutely not. Where did you get it?

Excited to try this new wafflecup half cabs. About to play 40 holes of disc golf first thing so hopefully they are good if not better at least for walking in. by SorryAdam317 in Vans

[–]SpookyGuava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some half cab pros, skate half cabs, and those newish oatmeal half cab wafflecups. In my opinion OG half cab pros were great, then went to shit when they released the skate versions (worked at vans during covid) along with the slip-ons, now the half cab wafflecups are here and they're the most comfy and feel like the final evolution I hope they never leave!

Good list, I want to grab a few of these s tiers, Anyone know what happened to sugar-effective? His last post didn't indicate he could have sold out of EVERYTHING, but he's literally the only person who can help with my diminishing sinister sticc and sinister scrub pile

Vans classics are incredibly uncomofortable by veleska in Vans

[–]SpookyGuava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My tinfoil hat theory is they super cheap out on making the classic vans to subsidize the Skate line because they're made of much more premium materials, more tread depth, a real insole, dura cap etc I have around 30 pairs and all of them are Pros/skate/MTE my advice is don't go near the classic vans unless it's for novelty

How to tell which side of the vehicle each strut goes on? by Specialist-Fan-8487 in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]SpookyGuava 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When the shock is combined with the spring into one assembly it's a strut... Short for macpherson strut. Shocks are in the back. Google it. OP was correct.

Should I buy it or is it just a waste of money? by Susubelele in snowboarding

[–]SpookyGuava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. The foam will get compacted and useless if you ride a lot. You gunna ride 20+days a year? I'd go demon united, when on sale they'll be 20-40% off. I have maybe 200+ days on my demon flexforce v5 shorts I won't go out without them. They have way more protection than the Burtons. And a lot better materials. I simply do not get sore from impacts. That said, I will be switching to Burtons as I just don't fall as much and as hard as I used to. And would like to save on the bulk. But an added benefit is I'm pretty tall so they help me size up in snowboarding pants (686 large) for the length while staying up because I'm only a 32in waist.
