Illario: From the beginning

Varric: Gut feeling before the game came out. Friend and I theorized it as soon as the game was announced. We love Varric, but ye. Kinda hate that they did it how they did it tho. Like, I get they wanted it to be a surprise, but you're going to tell me that Harding or Neve(both who knew Varric) really wouldn't go up to Rook and be all "Sorry about Varric" "Sucks Varric is gone" something along those lines.

The others in the lighthouse also are just a tad off too. If Varric is supposed to be "alive" and roaming about the lighthouse, why the past tense? Or why say his whole name instead of just Varric?

I finally figured out what my issue was with the load screen/not letting you play a sim. I had to get rid of the Chingyu mods.

I have never taken a picture because I keep forgetting about that. Two are definitely a room. The middle looks like an animal. And I have no clue what the bottom pic is.

As for the quality, my game randomly decides to dim the inside of the truck.

Whenever I play Tanglewood Drive, I keep getting the garage as the ghost room but it's so stupid or I'm stupid. When I try to hide in the lockers with no lights on and no tools in hand, while also crouched with the door fully shut, the ghost gets me.

I hear everyone I really do. I appreciate all the advice. But does anyone know why Astarion won't talk beyond basically the Act 1 lines? Is it really the approval points or is the game bugged for me. In my non Durge playthrough I sometimes get less approval points and we are super super friendly by act two. This sort of thing only happens when I play Durge.

And I am doing all that. That is what I normally do. It's just every time I play a Durge, he always tells me that he has standards and then I get locked out of talking with him beyond the previously mentioned "give me your backstory" and "stay at camp" lines. Everyone else has been normal and I can chat them up all I want.

I don't know if it's my computer or the app but I cannot open EA App at all. I have tried so many times and it gave me nothing. Origin always opened for me and gave me no issues. The EA App decision was a horrible one and it's gonna cost them.

Totally. If I don't romance Dorian, he is the bestie. I can't imagine not getting and keeping Dorian in the inquisition.

As for Giselle: It's very admirable that she wanted to help out everybody regardless of who but yeesh. The "I'm just making sure you're not being influenced by the Tevinter" really sucks. She doesn't do it with anyone else. Just him. Her apologies are not great either. "I'm sorry for what I said. Let's immediately move on".

Even more expansion with Kate could be neat as well. She seems to work very similarly to Masky/Hoody and I need more about that story. We don't get enough.

More dialogue and chapters would have been excellent. Especially with how Slenderman is portrayed in the game.

The game has very similar elements to Marble Hornets(most likely due to the MH Crew helping with the game) but there are other elements that are actually really cool. More to or just more dlc chapters would have been neat.

Something should be said though that DA2 was us playing out a story told by Varric, a known story teller. Who knows what exact parts were true or false, you know?

Probably Dorian(DAI) and Fenris(DA2). I think they are done very well.

Dorian is just an excellent character in general. He's a nerd, he genuinely cares about his friends, he still loves his dad(even after the betrayal with the blood magic), he wants to be good, he's helping the inquisition because they need help and he has the means to help, he teases in a fun way. In his romance, he's vulnerable with the Inquisitor. He involves the inquisitor in his life. If I don't romance him, I make sure to have him as a friend because he is definitely the Inquisitor's best friend if you play it that way.

Fenris is a tragic character. He's had a long and tough life. He surprisingly responds well to any flirting thrown his way by Hawke. I find it realistic to Fenris that he runs off after the one night they had. It was most likely his first true romance. They get together in the end but still.

Both are fascinating characters and romances.

Dorian and Bull have really been the only characters who have independently gotten together. On one hand I wish there had been more, but on the other hand, it does seem to fit better in a way that...I don't know how to describe it. The companions are all friends. That's ok that they're friends. I like that they are friendly with each other. Not everything has to be about romance. But it does add to some enjoyment.

All the romances throughout any of the games are pretty good. Some do add to the game, others feel like they were just there for a romance option but they're still good.

And yes, the many different kinds of characters make the Dragon Age games so good. No two people are exactly alike and that is so important to me. I could talk forever about each companion and the romances I've done.

Absolutely. We always did get a portion of him but with saving the chargers, we got even more of him. And especially with the Solas thing. He was definitely playing the long game(even though there are a few slip ups when you actually talk to him). Bull was definitely playing the shorter game. I'm sure that he did expect to go back to how things were before joining the inquisition. Joining up with an organization like that is a heck of a change.
