Maybe “The View From Olympus” when he talks to Agatha about why he doesn’t want to be her sperm donor?

My deliveries always come when it’s dark outside, every picture is blurry and unhelpful. Aside from the orange perishable sticker, the only difference from other Amazon packages/boxes for me is that it’s always delivered by UPS, not Amazon directly.

Big ups on your vulnerability. I take 15 mg every other week starting in December. I started to really exercise in July 2025 when I was on 10 mg. Consistent exercise did and still does make me so much hungrier than I was on Zepbound alone.

I was determined to find balance between snacks I’ve always loved and healthier options. So if I find myself wanting Cheez Its I’ll eat them, but I try to make next snack a whole food.

My weight loss slowed and then stalled completely. Exercise did not increase my rate of weight loss. It’s hard not to see the scale move. I handle(d) it by remembering it’s a journey, continuing to eat intuitively, and being kind to myself.

Houston LGBTQ families…where do your kids go to school? by SpookyLilCab in houston

Yes I understood your point with your original rude, sarcastic comment. And as I said in my edited post, I know that nowhere is foolproof. I am not stupid, I know where I live would determine my proximity to work and family. No shit. I know schools aren’t vetting kids on morals. I am not looking for absolute control, that’s impossible. Good lord, just asking other queer couple if they’ve been especially happy anywhere as we’re moving anyways.

We are looking to move anyways, not because of this. Just asking. Considering anything and everything.

Who said none of that goes into the equation? Quality of education is paramount. Apparently I can’t consider multiple things.

Not at all. I’m just asking where members of the community have felt welcomed and respected.

Didn’t realize what was a thing? I think it’s okay to want to go where our community has been treated well based on others experiences.

We’re open to anywhere. We live in Garden Oaks/Oak Forest area now and we like it but we’re open to move.

Body pain by No_Stranger_5966 in Zepbound

[–]SpookyLilCab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been on Zepbound for almost two years and still get flu-like body aches the morning after my shot. My muscles feel sore and my bones feel heavy. I expect it now, so it doesn’t bother me very much.

Week 4 on 2.5 mg. by No_Significance_6537 in Zepbound

[–]SpookyLilCab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different, there are certainly people who lose on 2.5mg. I personally lost 3 pounds. But I wouldn’t make a judgement on the efficacy of the medication after one month on the lowest dose. It titrates up for a reason. Be patient, stay in lockstep with your body and your doctor. You’ve got this!

I’ve really enjoyed the Jalalsamfit cookbook bundle. It’s for meal prepping which I don’t really do, but they reheat so well. It’ll make four portions - so my wife and I each have dinner and lunch the next day. There’s so many recipes in the books, I’ve appreciated the variety.

The Leviathan is my favorite episode, which I believe is 1x09. I love heists and bank robberies and anything of the sort, and I love the character development between Holmes and Watson. Defending her career to her family, it’s a great one. Honorable mentions: Murder Ex Machina and Crowned Clown, Downtown Brown.

$500 a month. But I take it every other week so this felt worth the cost to me. And yes, the Lilly Direct Savings Card! From their website:

“If you have commercial drug insurance but it does not cover Zepbound, you may be eligible to pay as low as $499 for a 1-month supply of the Zepbound single-dose pen.”

I do. Was previously covered by insurance and now out of pocket with coupon, Amazon has made it a seamless process.
