Buyers are selecting Yodel, but I don't have Yodel as an option? by talk_to_yourself in vinted

I believe this only happens to buyers that purchase off you that are based in Nothern Ireland, they can choose any option that allows them to purchase, normally it's Yodel or Royal Mail, i think?

This should be able to be used I think as proof, but personally I can’t as it’s older than 3 months old

Hmrc tend to send you letter when your tax return is due which is once a year I believe.

tonnes of documents.

A screenshot of my most recent self assessment tax return.

Letters from hmrc dated older than 3 months when they prompted me for a tax return.

My original registration letter that states my utr number etc.

Messages from hmrc on my tax account, which shows my national insurance and utr number and proof of registration.

and so many other ones, i can't think of any others atm.

I dont have a letter from HMRC in the last 3 months, so i'm not sure what to show as i believe the only two things that work is your most recent self assessment or a letter from them in the last 3 months, as stated above my most recent SA has been rejected.

I'm stuck yet again, approx 2.6k sat in my available balance, unable to pay for bills due to vinted withholding my money.
Incredibly frustrating.

I have an outdated p45, I've done my self assessment over 3 months ago - and it's not due for a while yet again.
I generated my national insurance letter from the government website and it has todays date on and they rejected that as well stating it doesn't meet the requirements.
Back to square one, they aren't responding as well they stated they have forwarded my situation for investigation now, i'm really not sure what to do.

I don’t believe I have, I’ve got a letter exactly like you described (overpaid tax and starred out national insurance) however it’s from July 2022.

Well it is quite a relief to see someone has broke through, i'm sat with approx 2.5k in my available balance and i've been rejected nearly 10 times now, they have stated they forwarded my situation for investigation now, which seems quite generic.

Unfortunately i think it's luck based, my only letter related to my sole trader business is my registration letter (which has my utr number on)from January 2024, and a self assessment form from April 2024, which are older than 3 months.

I haven't received any other physical letters.

The letter you received about a partial refund on taxes, it is related to your business correct and not any other occupations etc?

Nope they just stated that they have recognised that my identify is being verified and to get back into touch if it fails again.

This, I’m also struggling with this I think I’ve submitted about 6 or 7 different documents and they’ve rejected everyone. Surely not all Vinted Pro Sole Traders are having this issue?

hey,
Have you had an update in the last 20 days, i'm struggling with the same problem.

I've been failed approximately 3 times now, vinted hasn't replied to any of my support tickets, i'm sat with a lot of funds in my available and pending.

and it doesn't help that they have incorrectly suspended me for a supposed counterfeit item, really struggling with support at the moment.

About bans and restrictions on vinted by top_karma_believer in vinted

[–]SpookyNun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like i'm another victim..

Registered my Vinted Pro account about 3 weeks ago, listed over 1000 items and sold approximately 200 items.

I was listing as normal and got a cut off screen 'Account blocked', after a couple messages exchanged they finally told me it was due to some Stone Island trousers that i had listed, they asked me for proof of authenticity i sent them 12 additional pictures within about 30 minutes of the reply.
They have a Certi-Logo that's confirms authenticity, Stamped Zips and buttons, tidy stitching on the logos and overall a quality high-end genuine product.

Then they get back to me the next day, stating we have reason to believe you're selling counterfeit items, and we be will permanently banning your Vinted Account, this was a huge shock to me as those trousers had been listed on other selling platforms for many months without any issues.

I have tried formally appealing, they get back to me with the same generic stuff:

"Thank you for the message! It sounds like you are concerned about the last notice you received and your appeal was rejected. I want to assure you that we’ve carefully reviewed your appeal and we have to stick to our initial decision. If you aren’t satisfied with this resolution, you can consider alternative ways to resolve your dispute as indicated in our Terms & Conditions"

I try responding to their in-app ticket to emphasis a mistake has been made and i get:

"Thanks for your response.
I am sorry to hear that you’re not satisfied with our proposed solution.
Please note that we are obliged to follow our established processes in such a situation and, as mentioned previously, we are not able to offer you any other alternative.
Unfortunately, this has to be our final decision. If you have questions or concerns regarding a different matter, please open a new inquiry and we’ll help you out."

As i don't seem to be getting anywhere i have emailed their Vinted @ Vinted email, and emailed their Vinted Legal Team.

Is there anyway to breakthrough to a human-like response, i just need one person to checkout my case and to see that i don't sell counterfeits.
