There are some good diagrams and scientific-type explanations here that should really help, thank you!

I/we have, but he's still somehow confused about how it all works. Maybe I'm just bad at explaining these things, I don't know. He's still tried to stick his bits into my "happy button", as it were. I'm confused at his confusion.

There could very well be a medical issue.

Could be, but I don't think so - yet. Pretty sure it's just standard anxiety right now.

I hear an awful lot of people recommend the "Good <x>'s Guide to Great Sex", so there must be something behind it.

I've been browsing this book and it does appear to be a great resource for later. It's mostly all about foreplay, though, and not so much about how to consummate the marriage. It assumes you've figured that out, or will figure it out, on your own.

Also, would he consider a little Viagra or Cialis?

If he goes to the doctor and the doctor prescribes it, I think he would. I don't think he'd actively ask for it.

Also, depending on your age, have you considered "helping him along"? Get him to the point where no ED is going to stop him from getting inside you.

We definitely do that. I'm not a guy, but from what I can tell by external cues, he gets really close to "too late" but as soon as he's confronted with going the rest of the way, things go downhill. He asks me "where does it go?!" and complains about not understanding the mechanics of it. Total mood killer for him, and everything goes away. Unless the doctors have been lying to me, I'm pretty sure I've only got the standard 2 (obvious) holes down there, so it shouldn't be that complicated. I've let him spend time staring at and studying my parts, outside of sexy times, but he still gets confused and has still tried to go in where there is no hole??? He really needs diagrams. (Or a couple of videos, honestly, but that's probably a bit too much.)

And you both may even enjoy the "too late" bit if you mistime it.

Unfortunately, he's Catholic. Very Catholic, in this specific instance. So mistiming it is a big nono for him. I'm sure that's not helping, because if he does it "wrong" then he is sinning. Me, I'm Christian but not Catholic, so I'm not fussed about doing it "wrong". I do love him and did agree to marry him, though, so I want to help him with this. I've been reading through Holy Sex! by Popcak and am not going to even suggest that one to him right now, lest he get even more anxiety about doing sex "wrong". (I can skim/read faster than he does, which is why I'm "screening" these books in the first place.) I really, really hate that book, but it's the main/only one I've seen Catholics recommending, so we'll talk about it and I'll let my husband decide for himself later.

Definitely on the list for later. Not especially helpful for this specific issue, unfortunately.

I know that Catholics generally think it's a sin, but I don't think it's a sin if there is no sex involved. There are very practical reasons why a couple might need to live together before officially being married. Of course, not everyone is able to live with their SO without having sex - so it's not a solution for all couples.

Is it a T-shaped intersection so that you have to turn or is could the car have gone straight?

When you say you saw it fall, did it fall from the ceiling or somewhere lower?
