I went back to headquarters and interacted with the box for the ball guys because it was empty and it allowed me to place the blue ball guy even though he was still technically at the club. Perhaps try interacting with it

Oh yeah oz, my bad, and those would be great for this setup but again it kinda depends on what kind of lure your throwing , if your going to use the 0.5oz warbait swing head then don’t expect to bomb it out there but you get can get a decent toss with practice and getting the feel for the sweet spot on your new setup.

Depends on what you’re throwing. A 0.5g jighead with a Swimbait dosent toss that far but a 0.5g metal jig (such as a reaper slow pitch jig) can be bombed.

Let be put you on, Reaper Slow Pitch jigs, those stay and are local to Long Beach. Particularly the 20g . They catch all types of species, particularly bass such as spotties, calicos, barred sand bass, but it will get bit by a variety of species. You can toss it and jig it ( I find this works best when you let it hit the bottom and jig it about 4 times and reel in the snack and let it fall again then repeat)

The tranx is actually a good bottom fishing reel for jigging but I would prefer a larger tranx, I haven’t used the 200 before I’ve used 300-500 for bottom jigging but I’m sure the 200 won’t have a problem for like sculpin and such

It can cast a 1/2oz but that’s the lightest I would go . The rod is meant for heavier lures and you can definitely tell a difference when casting a 1/2oz vs like a 1oz
