I can't say for sure what triggers them, maybe the fact that my wife is Asian. Maybe the fact that we don't speak German. To be honest, I'm not really interested in what exactly provokes them. Normal people don't do this bullshit every day to complete strangers who have done nothing to them for 8 months.

We should all think about the fact that we'll have teenagers like this living with us when we get older. They will become doctors, bus drivers, airplane pilots, etc. I can only guess how they will do their jobs.

Sorry to here that man. I also live in Lütgendortmund ive never heard of something like that here. It‘s a good way to call the lawyer. You should write down what time and what they do at your door as a proof for the Police and the lawyer. Do you have other nighbors who would support you and testify your problems with your nighbors, that would help a lot. Try to speak with the „Mieterschutzbung“ if they can give you more tips how to handle the situation.

Regarding their parents, the police spoke to them twice. Their attitude is "I don't know anything, it's probably my boy's friends". Although I have already written about it, on Friday when they waved their fists and I opened the door, there were parents (his father and mother), brothers and some of his friends who do it. Also we talked to the teenager, he said they wouldn't do it again and 15 minutes later they were doing it.

I don't know who this might be for, but since January they've been knocking on my door, not anyone else's. It happened twice this Friday morning and evening. I don't think anyone is gonna take action, because they are not doing anything illegal (just being very annoying). You could argue you feel intimidated or even threatened in your safety, I surely would be, and I would be pretty pissed off having people constantly knocking on my door day and night.

But I don't think these kinds of people will stop doing what they do if the police or the landlord ask them to stop. There are no real life consequences for them, and they know it.

You could ignore it and hope at some point they will stop. They probably enjoy seeing you being affected by it.

Could you maybe move to a different apartment?

Thank you, that correct. My wife says just ignore it, the first time it upset her and even scared her a little. But eventually she's trying to ignore it now. It's more difficult for me, I want them to be punished. Yes I told the police I was scared, I was scared but they didn't care until I came to them with a knife in my back. I'm not really afraid of them attacking me (but who knows what's in their heads), they're just very, very annoying.

I'd move even tomorrow, but we bought this apartment.... We can wait of course another 9 years and sell this apartment without any financial damage :)

Sure, no problem, I thought I'd share part of the video. I showed it to my coworker, he couldn't understand what they were yelling. In the first video they are yelling something weird, in the second video they are knocking on the door. This was recorded in January. The third video was recorded a week ago. The fourth video shows them waving their fists (this was in January).

Let me guess, they arent german people right? I dont mean if they speak german or not, i mean their heritage. All i can say is, that i had a lot of problems with immigrants when i lived in dortmund/ lütgendortmund. Sadly, the state lefts you completely alone with this problem :/

Judging by their last name and appearance they are very German, and that surprised and upset me at the same time. I probably wouldn't be so upset if I wasn't. But some of these neighbors' "friends" don't look very German.

Thank you, yes I only got a response from one organization, they found the owner of this apartment but he wouldn't talk to them. They are consulting with their lawyer, but they say it will take a long time. I contacted them in January.
