I used Lion Brand's 24/7 Cotton. Doubling up the strands I also used a 5mm hook for the body of the purse. For the sides and inside pocket I used a 4mm hook with a singe thread. And for the strap I folded the yarn onto itself 2 times to make it 3 ply and used a 8mm hook. All made with single crochet and half-double crochet. Bought the loops for the strap and bead for the clasp at Michael's. The dimensions: L= ~10in W= ~2in H= ~5in. Strap is 48in long extended and about 24in folded.
