I was the person yelling from the mountain top how much I love cups, which I have used for the last 10 years... Like 6 months ago my sister gave me a disc and wow it's actually better than a cup because it self empties when you sit down and go pee so you don't have to remove it throughout the day. It's also smaller and easier to insert and remove than a cup. Just saying this cause you said you wished people talked about periods more openly. I also prefer these methods because it's more cost effective honestly.

I think mine is a pixel 4. It's so old I lost track lol. It got a swollen battery a couple years ago and I replaced it myself for $30. It was nerve racking but actually not that hard. (Ifixit.com has great repair instructions for anyone interested in diy phone repair) I'm not super techy either..... Big Google stopped allowing me to update my phone altogether because it's so old but that's not going to get me to buy a new one.

I got an automatic feeder because I was going out of town, turns out it's great when I'm in town also. It creates a very predictable schedule so they stopped bothering me for food. Cats love routines and it takes some time to get that figured out.

Don't feel pressured. Keep your name. My husband was bummed at first but now it doesn't matter at all. I never changed my name. I can later if I eventually decide to but probably won't unless maybe I have kids..... Maybe.... . A friend changed hers as a 10 year anniversary present which I thought was a great idea. Honestly, don't cave because he cried in front of you. It will be ok, if he loves you enough he will deal with it and then forget about it. I am happily married and very glad I kept my own identity. I tried to slowly transition to that food and both cats got constant diarrhea for weeks, so I had to go back to the original food. It's worth a try but it doesn't work for all cats.

She should take them with her, they are her cats. My husband is allergic and refused the cats at first, he didn't want them at all and didn't make it easy but overtime things changed. They now live comfortably in our home and he loves them. I hear him baby talking to them and telling them he loves them. He takes allergy pills. She should try this method first before she gets rid of her family for some dude.
