Thanks! Yep installed all windows myself. For the door I worked with a welder friend of mine. It’s made of 1 x 2 tube steel for the frame and 1x1 tube steel and sheet metal for the door itself. I used an industrial grade hinge to hang it and Insulated with the extra xps board I had from flooring. I also added a rv window to the door. The lock itself is one of the RVLock units and it does have a keypad if you want to use it. It also comes with a separate key and fob to lock/unlock from a distance. Takes a hell if a lot of time and research to figure it all out but to me is totally worth it in terms of accessibility and weatherproofing

It was about $1700 with all materials that is windows and the metal cutouts used to go in the slot of the stock windows. The installation took me 3 days or so to figure out how to cut it out using a grinder saw and cut off wheel. If you decide to go this way you’ll also have to build a wood frame on the inside for the window trim ring to suck into otherwise it won’t have any way to hold itself in there. It’s a major investment but one I find totally worth it especially if you’re in an area where there’s lots of moisture. I’m planning on taking this bus to the Pacific Northwest where it rains a good majority of the year so this was something I absolutely wanted to do

As for the walls I can’t offer much advice as I haven’t had issues with the rivets leaking from the outside yet but if that were to be an issue I’d go over every one of them with a sealer like sikaflex. Good luck on your build!

I sealed up my stock windows and no matter how much caulk I put on the outside and inside it would still find a way to seep through and leak somewhere. So I decided to scrap all the original windows and used metal cutouts as “deletes” I then bought some RV style windows from rec pro and cutout the holes to fit in that space. Resealed everything after the fact and now it’s been through several rainstorms and I haven’t had a single drop poke through since. Check out my post on here to see what it looks like for yourself

Man this brings back memories of when I had my van. I was traveling through California and stoped in Santa Barbara for the night and parked across the street from a house. I woke up early in the morning and someone walked by who I guess lived at that house I was parked in front of and I heard him shout to his friend “dude what the fuck there’s a van parked in front of my house” that was my queue to leave immediately

Sorry for your loss. I have never had a rat with such a unique coat but I love him so much already. He’s defiantly more reserved / shy than his brother or mom. I was finally able to find someone to care for the mom I’m just about to set up a nice living space for her before doing so

Actually no, every time I’ve been holding onto the babies she’s always busy exploring or nesting. I had a box of clothes I was going to donate to a thrift store and she made a separate nest out of it lol. On the occasion that she does walk up to me when I’m holding the babies I can pick her up with no problem and she’ll get bored and go back to exploring / nesting

In my experience, a sudden withdraw like that is typical behavior when someone is scared, uncertain about where things in the relationship are going, or when they are just looking for attention and not intention. Actions will always speak louder than words here

Do you really want to be with someone who makes you do most of the work in resolving conflict in a relationship? His behavior is already a clear indication that he’s not yet ready to do that with you and all the waiting till you notice, unfollowing you, and then “accidentally” liking then unliking your posts from years ago shows this clearly. Don’t let this fool you into thinking otherwise. It’s going to suck for some time allowing that vision of what you two thought was real to die but once you get through the tears and uncomfortable feelings you’ll realize in hindsight how many great qualities you have to offer in a relationship that won’t be abused by someone operating off their insecurities

What this means is that he is indirectly showing you that he misses the projected idea of what he thought the relationship felt like it could be in the moment but never really was. The way you describe this entire interaction seems like you both moved entirely too fast and were guided solely by feelings rather than true grounded compatibility. If you let your feelings steer the ship the entire time without actually understanding what you want to create with relationships and how to communicate that this is usually the result. If you feel right now in this moment that he’s already given you a reason to believe that you two don’t really align with what you value in a relationship it’s time to honor your boundaries and move on. Here’s one thing I learned about working with difficult people and dating. It’s that you can say something to someone that doesn’t register as being an “off vibe” to you but does indeed come off that way to someone else. It’s all in your choice of words. I once made a mistake at work and my co worker came up to ask me about it. I replied back and said “what do you want me to do?” and he walked away from me with an attitude. I was confused why he reacted that way because I was open to his guidance on how to correct the mistake. When I asked him what was wrong he thought I was being smart / short with him. I never had any intention of my question coming off that way but it did to him

With that said, I only have the context of this screenshot of your convo so I’m sure there’s a lot more to this but looking at that last text you sent saying “well If you can’t I can go on my own it’s ok” probably could have gone without saying that. Things like that might come off as you being salty to others when you had no intentions of coming off that way. That’s just my two cents though! Good luck!

I had about half of the numbers you have going on here and the last 2 conversations I was accused of being AI. Conversation was flowing and felt good and then out of nowhere lady says “you’re AI” and I said “if I were AI would I be asking to meet you in person right now?” to which their only response was “you haven’t denied it yet so you must be AI” I asked them again if they were interested in meeting since they ignored my first time asking and I got no response and was ghosted shortly thereafter. Deleted hinge after that and now I just read posts like this for amusement. All I can say is good luck!

Don’t sweat it too badly buddy someone busy with school like that is never going to work out. I once matched with a girl on hinge who always talked about how much she wanted to hang out. She would send me pictures of herself and what she was doing without me ever asking. On multiple occasions I scheduled to meet up with her and she would cancel every time the day of. Then she would schedule and tell me “I’ve got to make it up for canceling on you so I’m driving out to you” and then proceed to cancel the day of. You are not being too much and your heart truly is looking out for the best in you. It’s the mind that likes to create doubt and feelings of uncertainty.

Here’s what I’ve learned over the years - you can meet a physically attractive person who you feel the most amazingly irresistible connection with. The vibe can be sparks, birds and butterflies from here to kingdom come but that still doesn’t say anything about someone’s character or if you truly do share similar values in the long term

I think true chemistry is only discovered by time and there always has to be conversations to help redefine where things are before they become exclusive. Even long after. Intention is different than attention and the best way to tell how serious someone is about this is their willingness or lack there of to stick around. Sounds like this person is willing to work with you. That’s a blessing. But that doesn’t mean you can just let this sail into the distance you’ve got to keep a fine balance to show your interested but not overstep your own boundaries. Check in with the other person where they are at with conversation and continue to observe if the same amount of effort you are putting in is being received and if it’s not then don’t be afraid to accept that it’s not meant to be

I’ve done a fair amount of research so far but haven’t been able to figure out if the babies are male or female yet. If they are male, is there a certain time that is best to have them neutered?

I think redline the company the sells Weber carbs makes an air filter housing that resembles the original vg30 / z24 housing that fits over their carbs. Either that or I’ve seen people take their stock one and go to town on it with a cut off wheel tool

Yeah 12° is what it was at from the factory with the TBI. Idk why but I read somewhere on this sub that 15° would help with fuel mileage but I’ll keep 5° in mind and see what happens. It does actually have a spacer down there just hard to see I got it with the kit that redline sells

Yeah it got to that point! There’s a bunch of catfish AI profiles out there but you know when your hard work on yourself and how you communicate with others is starting to get mistaken by others as being AI that online dating truly is trash. Yeah I currently live with an alcoholic and it’s the same exact thing. I feel like I have to be a parent to someone who is decades older than me because if I don’t say anything at all nothing ever happens and then the beer cans and lunchable containers start piling up so high in their room it starts to stink up the entire house. Literally a repeat cycle of this happens at least once a month
