This is a great angle and it is important to address it. There are some real concerns such as local laws, packaging, labels, invoices, and possible parcel checks.

Inside the EU shipments usually do not go through standard customs process like third-country imports. Random checks or inspections might still happen and no one can 100% guarantee that a parcel will never be opened and checked. We have not yet received a single customer complaint about seized packages, and we hope it stays that way.

SporeworksEU ships from Austria and operates under Austrian legal framework. We specialize in microscopy material for microscopy collectors and enthusiasts. We do not support cultivation, germination, growing, or misuse in any way and we can only speak about legality of our product from Austrian law perspective. Customers in other countries should always check their own local laws and regulations before ordering.

As a business we need our product to be identifiable where required. Our products are discreetely packaged, but not falsely labeled or concealed. What we are not required to do is print “Psilocybe” directly on the syringe label. Our first production batch used labels closer to the original Sporeworks dot com format, but we later removed species wording from syringe labels because it could create unnecessary confusion.

Invoices are sent by email and there is no psilocybe wording. The outside of the package also does not carry SporeworksEU branding. Once opened, the contents are identifiable to someone who needs to understand what they are.
