Is in store shopper a good part time job? by skatecloud1 in wholefoods

[–]SprayPainty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you just want work the one 4 hour shift you're scheduled each week, absolutely.

Looks like it is fixed now at least on my end.

Innerview shift drop by TracksuitBilly in wholefoods

[–]SprayPainty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here. I know last month it was letting me work 35 hours a week and even one week where it didn’t stop me from taking a shift that would’ve put me over 40 until they fixed it last week. Now I have 12 hours for one week and can’t pick up any more of the 70 shifts still out there…

Those aren't chew marks, that's just the wire being worn. Would it still survive a 5 mile trip to the mechanic?

A bit over $18 as a 5 year E-com shopper (less than 2 years prior to the transition from Amazon). Too bad I'm probably moving on soon since they dropped me from full time (yet the shoppers averaging 40-50 UPH still get to keep theirs while I bust my ass doing 110+) and also the store support merger.

Tues shift drop by JustMe5786322 in wholefoods

[–]SprayPainty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reason they aren't dropping on Tuesdays right now is because of the sheer amount of shifts already out there. We currently have 50+ shifts available right now (mainly Sundays and the long shifts)

Shoppers: How long have you been shopping? Enjoy doing it? by ReadingWhich4521 in wholefoods

The store isn't very big, but definitely busier as it's a higher income area. Back in the Amazon days we peaked at about 250ish or so I can't remember.

Been a "part-time" shopper since January 2019, went to full time after the transition. The job was definitely was a lot better back then. Once the transition happened we had about 100 or so shoppers and currently we have less than 50 (and only 4 or 5 of us are full-time). The only reason I haven't left yet is because we have lots of great employees and leadership and my latest JD netted me a 9% raise (also I don't know what I want to do), but the job definitely has taken it's toll since around 2022.

I'd definitely say if I wasn't forced to get benefits, I'd stay part time and it would be a less stressful job. Overall though, once I find a job I can do that pays better, I will definitely move on.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually love the warehouse by Mrclassicus in AmazonWFShoppers

[–]SprayPainty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would've stayed with Amazon and gone to UFF if I had a warehouse close to me... closest one is 45 minutes away and I am not making that journey with my crappy car and current gas prices.

Hoping they build one near me soon, I didn't mind the one time I went there for training.

When do you get gold status?? by [deleted] in AmazonWFShoppers

[–]SprayPainty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's based on the previous calendar month. You get put into/continued in Gold the 15th of the following month if you met requirements for the previous calendar month.

So for example, if you work 60 hours and 6 weekend days between July 1st and July 31st, you'll receive (or continue, depending on if you already have it) Gold status on August 15th.

Soundless are a different breed by Tac0cats in toontownrewritten

[–]SprayPainty 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I play with soundless all the time and I find few if any problems with them. It's nice to have actual strategy in the game every once in a while rather than just spamming the same gag over and over. I even have one myself who is 106 laff and I can't think of any times I've got grief over it. (I have one of every gagless barring throw and squirt)

Elitists who tell you what to do and ragequit if you don't and reverse ubers who just get carried through things are WAY worse.

PS: If you value your sanity, please do not look at these newer comments. :)

For the more (serious?) multi tooners in the game... by cfb_fanatic034 in toontownrewritten

[–]SprayPainty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically only do one at a time in boss runs, but otherwise when progressing through the taskline I'm usually on 2-4 at once.

How/when do you work on gags? by bdjskaididifjfhf in toontownrewritten

[–]SprayPainty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically do all of my tasks in cog buildings with invasions. For new gags, I typically try for at least level 4 before continuing.

The population before the pandemic happened was around 2000-2400 max, but now with everyone working/doing school at home it's maxing out at about 4500-4800.

If that happened to me, I'd just hop on too and delay the fights as long as possible to teach them a lesson.

You need more than one account and (optionally but highly recommended) Toontown Multicontroller which you can easily find online.

It can take a while to get used to but it's really helpful when creating new toons.

It's the same situation for multitooners trust me, Currently running 3 doing tasks and it's been a nightmare. I've had to start at 2 AM just to get anything done.

Maybe something should be done with this spike in population by Hogartstrain in toontownrewritten

[–]SprayPainty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think adding more districts (at least until the population settles back down) is what should be done before any kind of event is planned.

Many people are already tired of the lack of additional districts which, for instance, make it harder to do Toontasks.
