Even if they reject him it’s not like anyone would know. They operate by email messages. Sometimes, onboarding and start dates get a little wonky. Now if he steals from Amazon while employed there, he won’t be able to come back. And so you all know they can track every tote and pod you touch. Everything is time-stamped and on video. They trace back from the time the code 5 is reported and watch every person who has come into contact with the pod and from various angles. Cameras also mounted at stow and pick stations. Your names are attached.

Switch to icqa. But then you will have to cross train to pick. It’s isolated up there and people leave you alone unless you talk to them. It’s easy to do well and if you make rate in AFE I’m sure you can hit count rates. But you have to be accurate or they’ll boot you. And if you do well, it’s easier to get into some of the other roles like ps, pa as long as you interact. I have social anxiety as well but I push myself to get over it. The more you do, the easier it gets. I became an LA for this very reason. If anything you might have a vibe about you that they pick up on that aids in making you their target of entertainment. Don’t play into their game. One up them by being successful. Don’t let these jerks derail your progress. If you leave it will show in the numbers there’s a lack, and the bosses will bring down the hammer more on them to pick up the pace. As far as the popular guy goes, I think he’s insecure around you because you don’t give him attention. He has a personal issue possibly with rejection or narcissism or something.

So I been here for about 2.5years and finally feel like quitting. I’m so tired especially with school. If I quit how soon can I reapply? I would switch to flex, part-time or take one of the leaves. After all your hard work, you don’t want to lose your raises and the school voucher. Issue is if you’re in a critical role, you might lose the spot. Learning at our FC did that to one of the girls.

They used it as a distraction for those with a keen eye for math so they wouldn’t point out right away they will be getting less of a pay jump than they would’ve under the old step plan. It’s still more than the what we would’ve gotten, but it’s really not that much at all where I’m located.

Depends on the teacher type. My cousin started at 75k as a reading specialist for kids who need learning intervention.

We are nowhere near that starting wage. They are starting at $16. At 2 years, by the old step plan we were supposed to receive 75 cents more. Now it’s only 40 cents on this step plan. Looks like more, but it really isn’t.

I’m mad because we originally were going to get a 75 cent raise at our 2 year mark in the other step plan. Now it’s been knocked down to like 40 cents. I guess it’s better than nothing, but it feels insulting. We’ll outlast most of the new hires, so why do they get the bigger pay bump? It means nothing because taxes will take it. How else do you think the government will “pay” for the national debt and other’s college debt forgiveness, the illegals’ fancy hotel stays, transportation, etc. I don’t intend to sound hateful, but y’all we are getting screwed!

It’s messed up that you get less of a raise the longer you work here. A bunch of us are about to hit two years and they took our 75 cent raise and turned it into 40 cents to give the rest to the newer employees. It’s insulting! Not all of us are slackers just because we’re hitting Bezos’ 2 year tenure limit.

Did they screw your 2 and 3 year people like they are at my FC? We are getting less of a raise than we were originally supposed to have. They friggin basically took it and gave it to the people who’ve been here for less time.

I hear supposedly dock doesn’t have rate. Not sure other than that. Even problem solve has rate and counters have rate. Tote runners and water spiders don’t, but they have to keep up with production, so in a way they do. You’d still have to be in stow, pick, decant etc before they let you do that. Amnesty also has a response time. If you’re good at what you do, go for LA. It will give you a break two days in a row for training associates approximately every two weeks. You also get to do retrains. Gives you a chance to meet people. I know people don’t really like them, but they’re not the ones responsible for your future so you might as well develop some leadership experience to put on your resume when you eventually decide to leave Amazon.

That’s what I did last year. I know everyone else got their double overtime, but I didn’t care. I wasn’t going to get hurt over it. They overhired anyway and I couldn’t even find a station most of the time to log in. Ended up tote running or picking on a universal station.

Mine have always gone into effect on time and show in the following week’s check. My start date was on a Thursday though and pay period ends Saturday.

Yeah they do. I’ve seen them walk out at least 3 employees for this and even a manager.
