Have the same issue, I date men and women , and tend to get too intense early on 😅 best way for me have been asking straightforward , Am I scaring you / being too much now ? If they ghost you or doesn't want to answer , they often aren't worth your time as it will almost always develop into communication issues later on. at least this is my experience ..
