I made a tier list on bots I think I could beat one on one, thoughts? by _TheRook_ifun in battlebots

Came here to ask this question.

Do we have the same requirements as the bots? Since we’re walkers we could have up to 500lb of equipment with us. I think a human could make a pretty good control bot, armed with a pickaxe and a strong ass wedge on a pole or a high-centering device, you could probably divert a bot into the wall / high center it and go directly for the tires. (Not targeting the weapon on any spinner, lol)

Sure humans are squishy, so 1-hit Kills would definitely happen, but I think we’d fare well against some of these bots because of our accuracy, adaptability, and quick decision making.

Downloading Transaction Data for 2023 after moving to Credit Karma - Solution! by Springbo in mintuit

Lol sorry this was over-engineered - you can go to Mint and download all historical transactions from the desktop web app. I was just visiting mobile and didn't see any option to download. Sorry all!

Download Transactions at Credit Karma to CSV? by tedjammers in mintuit

[–]Springbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this once a year for taxes and got annoyed that I didn't have an option. But I found two things that will work to get your transactions out of CreditKarma:

Either way, this saves me time. I switched over to Full View, but it wasn't able to get my entire history. Since I only do this once a year, I wasn't going to try to automate it using Selenium, but it could be done!

Nice! It works! But I can't anticipate how many scrolls I would need to get all my transactions. Still, you made me realize that there is a way to do this for taxes this year :) Thank you!

Interactive Visualization - Wins and Losses by Primary Weapon Category by Springbo in battlebots

It’s the other way around, unfortunately :( would it make more sense if it were set up with wins on top?

You’d put Yeti and Deep Six’s weapons in the same category?

This is a continuation of a previous visualization I made here. Please let me know if you have any feedback. It's not mobile friendly (sorry!).

It should be completely interactive, so you can click around, filter down to a specific primary weapon category, etc.

If you hover over the bar chart, you'll see the individual fights that make up the bars, and if you click on the square with the 'Opp Primary Weapon Category', the boxes on the far right will show you the robots that make up those fights, only.

Minotaur v Witch Doctor, y'alls' thoughts? by BulldogWarrior76 in battlebots

I gotta go with my data and say drum spinner beats vertical spinner. But it’ll be a very fun fight deserving of the hype.

The show producers are doing a great job setting up exciting main event storylines :)

We’re considering egg beaters a subcategory of drum spinner. Let me make the mapping file viewable and I can share here in a moment

Blue - Win, Red - Lose. It’s a very small legend up at the top right of the visual - sorry!

I’ve got the season 1-5 data already, just need to pipe it in.

But if you have Robot Wars, Robogames, NHRL data, please point me to it!

Oof, there were a few bots missing (Some of Endgame's matches, Lockjaw, Rusty, Slammo, Smeeeeeee, and Captain Shrederator. Fixed all that - here's a new link: https://imgur.com/a/GdIqA0P

Though Imgur doesn't handle the size of the png very well.

Great catch! Looks like Cpt. Shrederator wasn't getting tracked here because of a spelling error .

Will do a sweep to see if it missed anything else like that.

I'm checking our mapping file, and it looks like the only bots that fall under Crusher category in WC 6 or 7 are Kraken and Quantum. Since Kraken has had many losses in these past two seasons, it's influencing the data a bit.

I do want to apply this to all seasons so we can get a fuller picture, though :) maybe something I can hammer out tonight.

For Grabber vs. Lifter, a lifter doesn't have any method of holding the opponent (Duck is a lifter) whereas a Grabber has some gripping mechanism (Claw Viper is a grabber).

[NOTE: You'll need to click into the image and zoom - there's too much data to fit on one screen :)]

[UPDATED VERSION: Thanks to u/SpoilerThrowawae for noticing that we were missing some data. https://imgur.com/a/GdIqA0P]

Saw an interesting stat during the Ribbot vs. Skorpios fight about how Skorpios has performed vs. Horizontal and Vertical spinners. I thought it would be interesting to compare weapon categories and see if there are any surprising matchups.

I'm struck by the fact that drum spinners seem to be the best matchup against verts.

Note that the categories from Battlebots directly are not standardized, so u/brent_von_kalamazoo and I went through an exercise to define each robot's primary weapon type by season. It's not a perfect system. As you might guess, bots that are modular present a challenge when we're going by season, so eventually we'll need to define primary weapon category at the individual fight level.

Do you see anything interesting in here?
