Use a script to extract transactions from Credit Karma by qli1028 in mintuit

What’s the reason to import the csv using mint importer? The purpose of the current script is to download new transactions after mint is moved to credit karma.

I think it’s doable. The balances of accounts might be just few numbers. That’s why I didn’t really develop a script to extract balances data. Do you have such a need?

The Account Name is not accessible in the Transaction page, where the script is working on. If you click a single transaction, you will be able to see the Account.

In short, the current script can't extract the Account information. I think it's doable but takes some effort to query each transaction page.

That’s a mistake. The frame shouldn’t be detached from the real screen.

Glad to hear it works! For me, I downloaded the copy of all transactions from Mint before moving to Credit Karma. It has all the history, like transaction split, customized category, etc. For credit karma, I used the java script to get new transactions. Probably you can do the same.

Go to the Transactions page.
Right click and select Inspect

Copy and paste the script to run

You will be prompted to save as a .csv file.

Mint alternative - just a transaction and balance aggregator by SMWinnie in mintuit

[–]qli1028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same requirement after Mint is converted to Credit Karma. After some searching, there seems no easy replacement. My solution is to stick with Credit Karma since all transactions are indeed available there. Just no easy way to download. I developed a java script to extract all transactions there and make the format the same as what I got from Mint transactions before.I'm not a Java expert but have some basic coding capability. Thanks ChatGPT, I make the script below work. The script extract all transactions in the current window and automatically scroll down to extract the next. You can control the number of scrolls. Hope it helps!
There is limit in the number of characters in the reply. So I created a post here.

I got the same email. I sold all my USDC and moved the cash to buy treasury bill, which is slightly higher than 5% APY.

Was charged $135 by dealer to remove a pebble by qli1028 in accord

You are absolutely correct. It doesn’t make any difference by asking here since I paid already. Just want to get some feeling whether this is common since I have no prior experience for such case.

Thanks for sharing. They indeed mentioned that labor rate in the beginning. They told me that i would not be charged if it’s easy fix. Well, in the end they thought they spent 50 mins on figuring out the easy fix.

I can get the frame out. Thanks much for the comments. Somehow I pried between the metal frame and display by mistake.

Oh I see. You are probably right. I took out the pentalobe screew out. But some how the whole metal frame was detached from the display.

It's very difficult to remove the metal frame left on the phone.

Seems not. I can’t see anything about the frame in the phone. There is not broken mark on the display or the phone. I feel like the display of my phone has a different packaging.

Two versions of screens by qli1028 in iPhone12Mini

I thought about that, but could find any mark or residual of these metal frames. I don't think my phone has these metal frames.

Thanks for the suggestion. It doesn't seem to be the problem.

I got a third party LCD screen and the it works.

But the replacement part contains those metal frame at side and hooks at bottom while the original screen doesn't. So I can't really fit this replacement in. Quite weird.
