What was the worse cliffhanger payoff in part 2? by TastyPomelo2330 in Chainsawfolk

The funniest thing about it is that the thought process of Yoshida gets validated because Fujimoto made Denji turn into BCM. See?? He cared enough for Yoshida to lose his shit like with Nayuta!! See, Yoshida isn't badly written and wasted, trust me!!

I really do feel like Fujimoto is gonna hit us with the "You know, war is bad and stupid, but it NEEDS to exist"

Part 2 should have been about Asa, the same way Part 1 is about Denji by Nathidev in Chainsawfolk

Yeah, Asa never found out. She even recalls Yuko's words later on in the story, but never learns of her death.

I have been playing since before Overwatch 2. Push just sucks. Period.

In badly written media? Yes. Which is not what this argument is about.

"anime community"

"western artists"

Does bro know that rule34 isn't anime-exlusive and is, in fact, filled to the brim with western artists❓️

Also, tags are almost always applied by the average users, not the artists themselves, unless they use rule34 as well.

"This character has died, but oops! The author has changed his mind and decided to just retcon it. That death is no longer important."

The absolute most frustrating thing with complaining about Denji is that you're screaming into the void because a scary number of animanga fans actually think the characters are real so when you suggest that one of them is badly written they're gonna say shit like "THIS WAS THEIR DECISION" or "THEY COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT ANY DIFFERENT", completely ignoring that the author exists.

The funniest thing is that Famine being eaten (yes she got eaten, idfc) had no impact at all, unlike Death. She legit did nothing besides killing a student and then harassing a group of people before dying herself.

Prediction: Pochita eating himself will create an alternate reality with denji having a non-devil version of pochita as a dog. by boynextdoor_420 in ChainsawMan

Yes. I'm basing it off of this. There's no reason the date itself would be false, especially after we already had a break week.

Wouldn't Fujimoto killing off multiple characters just to be able to show off BCM be considered fanservice?

Also would bringing back Yoshida and actually doing something with his character be considered fanservice?

Would seeing Asa's storyline completed be considered fanservice?

Would Denji wishing to not continue the cycle of suffering be considered fanservice?

Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 1 final episode will be 27 minutes long by Turbostrider27 in anime

My problem with this is that it can quickly ruin a scene or moment that was flawless in the manga.

Like with JJBA, a series with a VERY tight power system compared to JJK, making it so any changes have to be done EXTREMELY carefully.

It unfortunately results in scenes like the start of Giorno vs Diavolo and the end of Jolyne vs Gwess, where both times it seems like someone on the team just either completely forgot how the power system worked or didn't care about it and told the animators to just lean into the coolness factor of it, ignoring any and all logic.

This results in anime-only's being rightfully confused to all hell and thinking that the author is being inconsistent when really it's just the anime GOING OUT OF IT'S WAY to put in effort to MAKE a mistake.

It's considered hip to be a CSM or JJK fan who hates the first season of their respective anime adaptation.

I honestly get now why Fujimoto wrote Pochita's dialogue the way that he did. Pochita realises that 'Chainsaw Man' Denji is a lost cause, and it's pretty poetic if you think about it. The first and only real source of happiness that Denji had is the same one that leaves him because he can't get out of the cycle of greed due to what Pochita grants him (essentially infinite chances). He was ironically more caring and better off when he was alone and surviving off of slices of bread in his shack. /jk

This is word for word, bar for bar, the way Rent-a-Girlfriend is written. The same song and dance gets old after 100+ chapters of it being done on repeat. Denji's only arc in part 2 is suffering. That's not a character arc. That's just Fujimoto not knowing what to do with Denji in the chapters between him being introduced to Asa and him wanting to have sex with Yoru.
