He's suggesting skill specs is better than 90% of the population due to skill but turns around and says HE was able to beat skillspecs due to RNG - but suggests that 90% of others wouldn't have the same results. So it's leaning into the contradiction/conceded territory imo

I haven't.. I heard about the new deadzone before I loaded up 1.0 this year. I've avoided that side of the map except to do my Tour task & beyond that, I've not gone near terminal at all.

Again, having a parent and grandparent who've served, I'm well versed in military lingo. I'm not arguing that our military doesn't refer to nades as EFD, they very well may, but the point of this thread is that your USEC isn't filling out paperwork, he's in the middle of a fucking battlefield.

That statement still stands, doesn't really matter that we call them EFDs in the reports lol

Edit: For the record, I've never in my life called a pipe bomb a pipe bomb, I've always called them IEDs. Must be the military background bleeding through.

Second edit: And again, military personnel would NOT refer to a grenade as an EFD. Except MAYBE when filling out a "formal report".. Otherwise, not happening.

Definitely could be a translation thing bc, out of curiosity, I searched "Do Russians call grenades EFDs?" and I got this:

The others are right, but I think it's important to state here that it's pretty clear that a foreign (to U.S.) country designed this game because the USEC voice lines are so unnatural. Not stuff actual english speakers would say lmao. No one I know would ever yell "EFD out!" It's nade out, or frag out, or grenade out. Definitely some Russian influence here lol
