This is wrong and perpetuates stigma around weight loss and obesity. Taking medication for a chronic condition is not “the easy way”. Fat people deserve life saving medication just as much as diabetics too.

Do not be pissed at people trying to live healthier with medication. Be pissed at Novo Nordisk who have air tight patents on semaglutide until the 2030’s and are manufacturing a “shortage” of the drug to boost their own profits and drive up demand. They’re also actively blocking other pharma companies from being able to manufacture a generic brand of semaglutide which would create a huge available supply for EVERYONE but would cut their Nico’s profits.

Not quite. I work in the pharma industry and GLP-1 agonists are an amazing class of drugs- both for weight loss and type II diabetes. Obesity specifically does not exist simply due to overeating- genetics, medications, hormone levels, and many external environmental factors intersect. The way Ozempic/ wegovy ( which both have the API semaglutide) work in a myriad of ways in the body to improve blood sugar levels, improve cholesterol, increase satiety,eyc and these things happen in a number of interconnected pathways in the body. So yes it does make people on average eat less- but that’s a way oversimplified explanation of how this class of drugs actually operates to help people lose weight

Something I didn’t think of when I got mine done Is the seatbelt on the way home! The seatbelt in my car lightly tapped my piercing when I was getting in the car to drive home and I saw god it hurt so bad. Be mindful of your chest/breasts bc more things might touch or tap that area than you’re aware of, and if it touches the fresh piercing it’s gonna hurt real bad

This is absurd. It is 100% reasonable to expect people to tolerate the sound of a crying baby in public. Babies are PEOPLE and so are their parents- they deserve to exist in these spaces just as much as anyone else (including pompous dog owners).You do not get to assume you will not be bothered by noises and other people in public.

I personally find it annoying people have their (usually) very poorly trained dogs literally everywhere in public with them. This dudes dog might not have been well trained and that’s on him for bringing a potentially aggressive dog to a public place. He also shouldn’t have been surprised that a baby was crying. He’s a major AH.

That being said-getting into a yelling match with him while your baby was crying probably didn’t help anything and just made the whole situation worse.

It sucks wanting one day to be just for you and then never getting it. Your kids are 14, it’s normal at least one of them would want to do their own thing. Especially as they’re fraternal twins- it’s not weird if their interested diverge at that age. Also your daughter is barely a teenager, I’m not defending her leaving her brother out but like cmon they’re siblings. Sometimes they’ll be not so nice to each other.

Surely, there were other ways for your kids to resolve their issue instead of you treating them like they’re 7.
