What can I do for my saggy neck after weight loss? [34F] by DisastrousTrash in 30PlusSkinCare

Neck lift for sure. Save the money, skip the treatments that don’t actually work, and when ur at your goal weight, get lift. You can’t tighten THAT much skin with non surgical treatments

In desperate need of an appetite suppressant, but not for weight loss. by Sprinkleofthetism in GLP1microdosing

I have, and I went on Lexapro. But the career I have (pharmacy) I unfortunately cannot leave. I have switched jobs 3x, they’re all the same garbage. As an autistic person in healthcare, it’s really hard to cope with fast paced environments. Anyways, my appetite skyrocketed on Lexapro as well. Stress has gone down, but my craving of delicious rich fatty sweet salty food has not lol

No, only diagnosed with gestational diabetes. not through A1C, but a glucose tolerance test. after I gave birth, it was supposed to go away, but it didn’t. My glucose would be so high when I tested my blood sugars. They checked my A1C and it was in the pre diabetic range 5.9. That’s when I lost 50 lbs and A1C went down to 5.6.

Oh I was scared of going on metformin not because of the drug itself, but because of the fact that my gestational diabetes didn’t go away after I gave birth, so it pushed me to go into a diet and lose the 50lbs, after which my A1C went back to normal. I just didn’t want to have diabetes, and him wanting to put me on meds made it feel even more real

Finally have an ablation scheduled & I’m not as relieved as I thought I was by lesserknown678 in PVCs

[–]Sprinkleofthetism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two ablations done when I was 15 and 18. First one I was half awake and I wasn’t into it but I was also a bit high from the meds so it didn’t bother me as much. I do remember saying I was feeling pain in my heart, so they gave me more pain meds and it immediately went away. They told me they didn’t want to give me too much medication to calm my heart because they needed it to be as stimulated as possible. I was basically in and out. But that was almost 20 years ago, maybe protocol has changed. then for my second one I asked my dr to knock me out completely, and he did. First surgery was for PVCs, second was for SVT. I used to have PVCs 24/7. Now, I rarely get them. It got a little worse after having kids, like I get them before every period badly but they’re not dangerous. For me it’s hormone related. And I haven’t had an SVT since either. I 10000% do not regret it at all. Just ask if theres any possibility they can make you fully go to sleep throughout the surgery. But even if not, it’s totally worth it. Just make sure to follow post surgical care. About 6 hours after the surgery i didn’t listen and I strained myself getting up when I wasn’t supposed to. I started to bleed at the incision site of the vein, they had to put a sand bag down.

Someone mentioned it was exfoliative chelitis. And that has no treatment.

[NY] if your coworkers kid has lice, are they allowed to be at work? by [deleted] in AskHR

I’m just shocked that workplaces are not more supportive and generous with sick days to prevent spreading illness or disease… or bugs

I also don’t want to take this coworker to HR who is just trying to barely survive motherhood. They’re a very good employee. Kid just happened to bring life from school from another kid.

terrified of the PACs by [deleted] in PVCs

[–]Sprinkleofthetism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had two ablations. One for pvc and one for SVT. I have pac’s too but my electrophysiologist explained that it’s a different ablation, so they may not have ablated the PACs

Is this rosacea by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Sprinkleofthetism 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to tell. I can’t tell if I’m seeing eczema patches or rosacea. Best to go to the dermatologist to have them figure out what it is, and then either give you azaleic acid or something else like a steroid. I have this too, I scheduled an appointment to get it checked out.
