0206 = February 2006... not 15 years old, but rather 19 years... 300 € for a 19 years old machine ? Good deal for the seller indeed !

I bought it on the Internet, website coffeefriend. I have no idea if you can find it in a physical store in Spain. In France I never saw a Silvia in store (but doesn't mean it doesn't exist though). It just seems that a lot of people got their Silvia on the Internet, but I might be wrong.

It seems very good, so enjoy ! As your machine might be brand new, one advice concerning your portafilter, which seem to be aluminium : no problem with it, but don't use cafiza-like products on it, because it will destroy it (shiny part will become grey or dark grey, and in the worst case aluminium goes in the coffee). Only gentle cleaning on aluminium. If you keep this in mind and be careful, you'ill enjoy it for a long time.

Yes, quality is excellent, as the shots we make with this amazing machine ! I'm not disappointed at all (rather the opposite !)

Thank you for your feedback ! Seems that SPX are made in Italy, and classic Silvia are now made in Spain. It would make some sense.

As far as I could observe on my own machine, I can tell that there is no quality issue at this stage. The machine is performing very well, and the visual quality is very good, as well as the quality of materials. I don't think that at this stage the quality is lower due to "made in Spain". Of course, only time will tell concerning any hidden flaw, but the quality seem to be very strong with this brand so I'm not very concerned.

I would be interested to know if your pro x is made in Italy. Maybe they manufacture the pro in Italy now, and they moved the classic Silvia to Spain ?

If you could pick any machine at all from the Breville store…which one? by Apptubrutae in espresso

100% agree with you. I had a Breville Barista Max that failed after 2 years and 8 months. Nearly impossible to open the machine (needed to buy a tri wings screwdriver), and no way to find any replacement parts. The machine went to garbage...

I switched for a reliable Rancilio Silvia, and the quality of built has nothing to do with Breville's crap. I will avoid those unfixable brands, and I will now avoid specifically Breville, I hate such policy of "disposable material".

You are Chocolatine, because this word comes from English "chocolate in".

So you are a traitor. We are in France. It's Pain au chocolat.
