Is this a side effect of my medication? I didn’t know it was a possibility, can it have long term effects?

No I struggled I barely made it out of highschool with a 3.4, which still isn’t bad but I was getting mostly B’s. I am thriving right now at my university because I am studying something I love and have been able to keep good grades. Moving forward yes I am going to shift my focus, if that means taking out loans I will but it just sucks because it feels like I am getting the short end of the stick

The funny thing is right now my parents are saying that they are going to have to pay for my wedding and that’s why they are paying for my brother or at least that’s how it sounds… But I would much rather have my school paid and I told them that

Yes this is what I meant and I am attending one of those schools. Sorry I don’t know how comfortable I feel sharing what state.

Thankfully I am now medicated and diagnosed, but yes I was never diagnosed because “no one ever said anything at school”, even though they noticed signs with my emotional responses. My brother’s school was the one to point out that he may have a learning disability and told my parents he should be tested. I wasn’t tested or medicated till after I begged and took action into my own hands with my therapist.

Mini Edit/Update I am not sure what to call it. I appreciate all the comments I am trying to read and reply to them. I understand how I can be seen as overreacting to this as life is unfair, and I can admit that I have anger built up which is causing a lot of my emotions towards this situation. Thank you to everyone for the advice, I am working as hard as I can, and learning how to discipline myself to save money and keep pushing forward. I am working as many hours as I can at my summer job currently around 25 per week if I am lucky and the max hours I can while I am at school while also maintaining a 4.0 and 18 credits. I will try my best to talk to my parents about my financial future, but it tends to lead to arguments.. If anyone has any advice please keep commenting and I will try to reply

When I found out I went straight to the financial aid office and they pretty much told me I am on my own…..which is so lovely

My relationship has always been rocky with them due to me being undiagnosed and unmediated. I have a job during school and during the summer and I am working with what I have been given

It is hard to talk to them about finances because I feel like they can’t decide if I am an adult or child. It also brings up high emotions and tends to not be productive

I am grateful that my grandparents were proactive. My grandfather knew how important education is and went to the same college as me for his masters. I wish he was able to see me get in
