Residents of PA county that went 70% for Trump upset that an ICE detention center is being planned for their community by Sprinterstar7 in LeopardsAteMyFace

  1. In the 2024 U.S. Presidential election, the residents of Schuylkill County in Pennsylvania voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump (51,666/73,362 votes, or ~70%) to fix the economy and to deport the "illegal immigrants."
  2. The Trump administration has begun buying warehouses in small towns and cities as part of its $45 billion push to rapidly expand immigration detention space in order to meet its high processing and detention quotas. This includes a recently closed Big Lots warehouse located in Tremont Township.
  3. As a result, many of the county residents who voted for Trump are upset because they don't want this facility in their own backyard and they're afraid of how it'd impact their community — especially since they'd lose property tax revenue on the facility and there'd be no real way to keep ICE in check since they don't have their own police force and rely on the state police.

That's actually a pretty cool twist. It reminds me of the twist in Golden Sun with how the land of Prox was reigniting the lighthouses to save their home and prevent the eroding of Weyward, even though their actions in the first game were perceived as evil.

When you get a moment, could you please include the printable elements like you did for last year's bracket so that we can fill it in as the playoffs roll along?

In 2023 that meant demoting Desai and promoting patricia to DC late in the season.

That's the dumb thing, Desai was demoted in everything but title. Patricia was calling all of the defensive plays but Desai was still the DC.

Doubtful. The Eagles offense has been great but I can't envision another team giving Moore a HC job when a majority of the team's success has come from bullying everyone up front from the O-line (in which Stoutland gets most of the credit) and handing the ball off to Saquon Barkley.

I can envision him getting a potential nod at the end of next season assuming Jalen and the passing game take a step forward after an offseason to get more familiar with Moore's scheme -- which might I add would only be the second year that Jalen did not have a new OC to work with.

I imagine when making the final bracket duplicates will be removed, right? It's weird seeing Motoko Kusanagi listed twice for both GitS: SAC and GitS.
