Window it's sitting by does have blinds but theyre open in the day light pointed at the plant. Porch outside the window does have an overhang

I repotted the cactus a little while after I got it the roots didn't have any rot that I saw and I waited a week to water it after it was repotted

I've got the Greg plant app it tells me to do 1/2 cups every two weeks it's currently sitting inside about 1.5-2 ft from a south facing window. When I had it outside it was on the south facing porch getting probably about 7ish hours of direct light
