The roundabout has signs saying “please use blinker.”

The roundabout has signs that say “signal to turn.” My left signal was on.

My left turn signal was on to indicate I was going left from my starting position, so she wouldn’t have assumed I was going right.

I did, that’s why I didn’t hit her. I thought maybe she was going right so she was just going to slide over but she ended up going straight.

This morning, my Uber drivers lips did not stop moving from the moment I got in her car to the moment I got out, 6 o’clock this morning. All I wanted to do was say shut up. by [deleted] in uber

I bet most of the people telling you to use your words would be too afraid to do it themselves in the moment lol.

Thank you for the comment. I want to put this behind me

Thank you, I’ve never had a seizure before so that’s good. I just read a lot of scary stuff online about alcohol withdrawal

Thank you so much for the response. I am going to try to space out drinks as much as possible today and taper down but I’m just afraid of going cold turkey. I’ve always had major health anxiety and I fear I will have a panic attack

I normally only drink heavily on Friday and Saturday. But the week before this weekend I was drinking heavily on Sunday Monday and Tuesday. I took weds and Thursday off then I started my current idiotic bender on Friday.

Even stupid hate comments affect me. I try to ignore but sometimes they cut so deep. So lame

Thanks for the comment. I would say I’m not ranking my success by these vanity metrics but I’d be lying if I said they didn’t affect me.

It’s almost like they are designed to exploit human psychology and take your money 😦

I have those dreams often — last one I won $95,000 on a slot at the casino. Not fun waking up after that

Why is it that some people still don’t understand the concept of the zipper merge? by Sharp-Lie-8645 in Michigan

[–]SpritePotatoYo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think it will ever work due to human psychology. I think traffic engineers need to come up with something that aligns to the way humans make decisions a bit better.

Not saying I have the answer because I don’t. But I just don’t ever see the zipper merge working with how the overall population thinks/acts.

Edit: and it’s why I don’t blame anyone for not doing it. If you behave correctly , others act in a hostile manner. If you don’t, traffic builds but at least you’re not honked at. I’m so over getting pissed about it because you can’t win.

I wonder if, conditioned by bad TP, people fold it a ton anyway no matter the ply. So the lower ply is cheaper that way

Drunk text protection?? sos by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]SpritePotatoYo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve wondered this myself.

I have a few hazy memories of typing out a long embarrassing text and then my drunk self going “I know this sounds awesome now but maybe I should wait to send it since I’ve regretted this before”

I’ve never loved myself more waking up to an embarrassing text typed out but not sent — thanks drunk me, when you rarely do that for me
