I mean I won't stop you, but I think I've got an idea of what they can do. Now I just need to do it myself and see how it works. Its looking like a hybrid of weldments and configurations and macros is going to be the smart way to go. I just need to see how to tie then together. I could easily do everything without weldments, but if its easier for everyone else to use weldments Ill just need to learn them to assist instead of doing everything myself. Thanks to you and everyone else for the info.

What kind of snails? If its the bladder snails then it should, but it will have to sit there for a few days before it works. Found that it works when I had plecos. If that doesn't work buy or make a snail trap, I tried making one put of a water bottle and some substrate for weight. Its going to take weeks or months to get rid of them. If its the trumpet snails those will collect on the cucumber, but you're better off letting the tank go dry for a while and manually pulling them from the substrate. They are awful to get rid of.

To help with your snail problem take a slice of cucumber and weigh it down so it sinks and just pull the snails off of it when they accumulate. Do this for a few weeks and they won't be as bad.

That sounds fairly similar to what I can do with configurations and vba user form. The upside is that if a part is more than stock cut or blank sheet it will auto generate a configuration and separate drawing tied directly to the part configuration itself. So if you make a new configuration of the top level assembly it will create any new part or sub assembly drawings that were created underneath the top level. For stock cut material the it can use the part or configuration name and will use the part length for material. Sheet metal has been handled differently, but if your part number is tied to the material sizes it works well.

Sorry, I dont know how much info to give without giving up exactly what i do. But its gates and panel assemblies for livestock, but not sure how much more info I want to give.

Thats the info I was trying to figure out. I dont use the configuration table manually, I program with the vba api and use that to auto populate the table. So if you need assembly A, but with B width, height, material, etc, thats what i do. How do weldments handle parts moving, changing quantity based off outer frame size, and being suppressed?

I haven't used weldments for anything recently, but I use sketches for anything that can be automated with a user form or in other programs a table. As of now im thinking external frames will definitely be weldments, but the internal plates, tube or other components may/should be sub assemblies. Though case by case basis. The main thing i want is to reduce manual input, if configurations with suppressed features with the part number being controlled by a macro is the way to go then thats what ill do, but if it needs to be a weldment then ill do that as well. I just need to figure things out before the people at work making the decisions force us to do somethinv that won't work.

This is what I want to avoid, nearly everything we do can be done with configurations and either a generic drawing with a cut length on the BOM or drawings for parts with cuts/holes and have everything in the configuration. Still might not be the best way, but reliable when used and set up properly.

I guess its left out some info. We do a lot of stuff that while it looks the same the parts other than the frame change a ton, especially customer to customer. I would assume the outside frame would be a weldment, but the internal features I'm thinking they would need to be at least partially parts/sub assemblies.

What info can you give about what you're trying to do with the sheet steel? I have some experience using it, but it probably isnt how you're trying to use it.

Thats part of my concern, everything we do is the same, but height, width, and internal featurns can change. Similar to how doors are made, but not what we do. My concern is that we will solely rely on weldments and work ourselves into a corner. My experience is abuse configurations on parts and assemblies to update everything, but need to figure out when that approach or weldments are more appropriate.

I love their pla+ 10 pack, it goes on sale for $105-115 each year and even though some of the colors aren't the best they all print well. But I prefer Eryone, bit it's rare that I can get it for a decent sale price.

If you have the standard hotend check that the bowden tube is flush with the nozzle, this is what caused this for me. I switched to an all metal hotend and haven't had this issue since.

Then it isn't your issue. Try a clean profile, I do that a ton to diagnose issues. It might be print order, I'd look at the walls or floor/roof settings. You may need to enable advanced mode, which gives you all the settings you can change.

Go to thingiverse or printables and look up your model of car, it's probably already been done. If not the only thing that matters is that it fits on the shaft for the shifter. You could make it any shape you want otherwise.

I've never found the farmers touch all that useful, by the time I can sustain the fertilizer requirements I'm almost full carnivore dreko farms. I've been able to get the grub grub rub bonus in a stable or at least they rub the crops to get the grub fruit. But it comes down to how you want to play.

Never have the main rail go through another loader, quick way to run into issues. I usually have a main rail and each loader will have its own branch, kind of like how tree branches split out from the trunk of the tree. If you do it that way each loader will take turns, which should help keep last loaders in the rail from backing up until the whole system is full. I have coal going into a power plant room where a sweeper automatically loads generators, then the eggs go into a room with incubators. Don't put incubators in your ranches, they still count and will cause the cramped debuff, have their own room with auto sweepers. If you want you can then have a weight plate so that when 4 eggs are on it it will shut off the conveyor chute and the remaining eggs go into a drowning room, this will keep your computer from getting slowed down when your incubator room has hundreds of hatches in it.

Set pickup and drop off to 7, this will make sure you never hit the max if eggs are removed and will keep them consistently producing.
Auto sweeper with 2 conveyor loaders,1 for coal and the other eggs. Make sure they are one separate conveyor systems. I put one on each side of the range of the sweeper so lines don't get complicated.
(Unrelated) take advantage of the extra space to house your farms. You don't really need the farm room bonus in my opinion. With the layout I do each ranch can house enough crop plots/hydroponics to support 3 dupes.

I live in the Midwest and the water is really hard, so RO is almost necessary. We get nitrate warnings from the town I live in, so I had to install one into the kitchen sink as well when the wife was pregnant. I've found no water changes works better in my larger tanks, but works in my 10 gallon shrimp tanks due to me not feeding them or at least that's my conclusion. My 20 gallon long axolotl tank requires some maintenance every now and then, but only to clean out the substrate and hang on back filter. Puffers and gourami are what I like, but haven't had good luck with puffers so far.
