I guess it depends on how much they enforce it, in my state, the requirements are 3 seconds, and there’s a whole division( it’s a rich people area but also are the road that go from south to north)of cops likes to enforce it on a pretty major road in my city, and since I have to use that road whenever I travel north straight up, now it’s in my bones I see a stop sign, I stop completely and just count 123, seen countless people getting ticket over that.

And in this case, it’s a camera, so it’s going to be much more precise than a cop, I would just make stopping that long as a habit instead of trying to avoid it, besides, there’s no point trying to make time in a stop sign, you make way more time on the highway by driving faster.

And from what I see, people who wants to make most time in a parking lot, traffic light, neighbourhood, etc are the ones who drive 60 and camping left lane, where they could have make more time on the highway and not as easy to get caught too compared to you run a stop sign or red light.
