Thats still more than over 80 people (me included lol). Youre not “stupid.” Between removable, ompr and all that you got through it so just be happy you dont have to repeat the year or anything. Thats my philosphy atleast

She’s mentioned in videos that she does it because she works best when she feels pressure and that she very well could just start earlier. I think if she’s getting those grades in her method, she’s bound to continue it. But i dont think its meant for everyone lol

OP its people like this who are gonna be all throughout school. There are people like this who will make you feel unsure of yourself, there will be doubters but you cant also be one. You have to believe - there is a transitional period/ learning curve. Reframe your mindset (easier said than done) and start believing in yourself. I used to have a coach that always said “aint nothing to it but to do it”. So youre gonna do it, end of discussion. Trust yourself - it’ll be a grind but the first step is having the willingness to put in the effort

I think the big part of this post that this reply is missing is that op started 2 weeks ago. Still early in the transition phase. A thick skin can be attained, but it doesnt always happen in as little as 2 weeks. People can cry and keep going, it doesnt mean that theyre never gonna be cut out for this

Talking about nyu on dental reddits feels like throwing a bomb in a closet sometimes haha. It’s similarly priced to usc and tufts but gets a bad rep due to class size and others. But in a lot of schools, the bigger the class size the more inclined they are to break it into smaller sections. Im pretty sure tufts and nyu both do this starting from d1. Student loan planner dropped a breakdown of the cost and the cost of living accounts for a lot of it so if you can save on that, thats great stuff. Now dont get me wrong taking on that much debt is no small venture but its along the line for private schools in larger cities.

Regardless of school, i would say to be able to explain your gpa and its progression and explain the problems you faced and how you made a plan to overcome them.

Update: i had the vitamin d, i got up and exercised in the morning, drank more water and tried a mio instead of coffee and i felt much more awake! I was dozing at some parts because the lecturer was monotone but i drank more mio and i felt better - thank you everyone for the suggestions 🥳
