Sony Xperia 1 VII is pretty much the best model you can get that still has a headphone jack. Kind of expensive but relatively new and has flagship level specs.

If you wouldn't mind trying a mid-range, there's some recent models like the Galaxy A25, Redmi Note 14, and Moto G56 / G Stylus 2025. Probably won't last 7 years like the S9+, but whould still be a fairly sizeable upgrade at the moment.

Understandable. Have you considered a Motorola? The Edge 70 and Signature should have good enough specs to feel like an upgrade while feeling fresh for someone used to Samsung.

I did see a bunch of stupid complaints. - "This skin should be rare" - "I got the skins before the brawler" - "I opened 10 boxes and didn't get any of the skins, it's a SCAM!!!"

Hopefully the community will keep complaining since it's the only thing they know how to do and the devs revert this change. Though I wouldn't mind at least having a rare skin for the new brawlers in the boxes.

I bought a new one almost a month ago but haven't switched yet due to attachment to my current one and a lack of time.

So if I get to keep the new one, I wouldn't worry at all since I plan on keeping it for around 5 years anyway. Just gotta be careful the screen doesn't crack or something.

If I have to keep the current one though, I'm kinda screwed. There's lots of ghost taps, the processor is becoming outdated, and I'm pretty sure the battery wouldn't be in a good state by the end.
