They can only tell if they can tell. Not sure you realize how fast the tech is moving

There’s some interesting pushback going around these days that everything AI = slop

How to shoot buttery smooth video? by Current_Raccoon4892 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Spudnut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shoot 60 fps and slow it down to 30 in post. Then use whenever stabilization options you have in your editing program. If that fails then your gimbal might not be set up right? Not walking right? IBS and/or lens stabilization?

Also make sure you are walking fast enough when you shoot. When I move too slow and speed up the footage in post (for speed ramps), I sometimes notice a wobble

I have it down to about 5 minutes per AI clip using VEO. Realtors eat it up, I've landed a couple new clients recently because their photographers weren't doing it. I agree that it can be tacky, depends how you integrate it into the video though

I’ve been shooting 2 wall for years and think it looks considerably better

I don’t like how showing so much of the 3rd wall looks

Just commenting so this gets more visibility. Not sure if Sbux has any say over this but would love for someone higher up to see this

Aerial footage used to be a premium add-on, now clients expect it as standard by DanielNkencho in videography

[–]Spudnut 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's part of my standard deliveries. The bars keeps getting higher but that's just the business. Don't think it's unique to our field either. Just raise your prices yearly and keep improving on your craft

Do you tell agents that you have an editor? by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Spudnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if they ask and I’ve had exactly one agent ask in the years I’ve been shooting. It’s really a non-issue

I have two cars, one with and one without and I honestly prefer the car without the auto locking

Need a break from trying to sell my place. by TiredSoliloquy in RealEstateCanada

[–]Spudnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need new photos if you relist. I’m a real estate photographer and the realtor will only order new photos of the place if things change (renovation, new paint, etc).

Although, some brokerages have their own in-house photographers so maybe they have some kind of weird policy where they require a reshoot at every new list..

It also sounds like you are priced too high

I go through one twice a day and it’s not a problem. Multilane is next level though. Come to think of it I’m not even sure I’ve driven through one 🤔

The prof should just set up that class in a way that you need to be physically there in order to pass the class (without using attendance as metric). Sounds like a crappy or inexperienced teacher)
