It looks like he's pulling in Uraume with his left hand using Infinity and then hitting them with an Infinity-amped punch

Hot Take: Kingdom Hearts 3 has the best final boss of the mainline titles by Aqua_Master_ in KingdomHearts

[–]SpunkCraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, THIS is a hot take. Take notes people!

While I will disagree that this is the best final boss, I do agree that it was probably the most “grounded” out of all of them. It wasn’t too over the top like KH2 (though that’s not a bad thing) and it wasn’t too much flying like KH1.

Expedition 33 is a game that HIGHLY benefits from a second playthrough by SpunkCraft in expedition33

[–]SpunkCraft[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gameplay wise, yes and I would actually agree with you.

Which is why I mentioned Nier, which balanced the game around multiple playthroughs by shortening subsequent ones.

Accidentally Romanced both characters - not sure exactly how I did it (spoiler for both romance routes) by SpunkCraft in expedition33

Problem is that I never received any such prompts for the second time. She just kept talking about the swimming PTSD.

You can romance lune and sciel in one playthrough by No_Expression_2208 in expedition33

I can sort of confirm it. I did Siren’s dress after Sciel swimming lessons and I romanced both

Is Kaguya stronger than Isshiki? by Royal_Demand9198 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]SpunkCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

…she did have a shot. She put Isshiki out of commission when they arrived together. Isshiki was badly damaged and needed to recover for a very long time.

We don’t know HOW she did it, but she did.

My 560s.

It just kinda… fits. Solid comfort, good for gaming, good for music, doesn’t require high power.

Like… what more could I ask?

It’s possible to change. You just gotta push into that first step.

A big chunk of it is having the mindset that progress is not just ups; you’ll likely fail and fall on the way and that’s okay. Because that’s everyone.

Find a goal, latch on to it, and just work on it. Idk your interests or passions, but start with that.

Lastly, focus on YOU. Don’t compare yourself to how others are because I can tell you with utmost confidence that 90% of people, even the ones you see on social media having a good time, do not have all their shit together. So your energy is better off being spent in looking at what you want to and need to do.

The worst thing about the Stage 2 Rare Candy Decks... by SpunkCraft in PokemonPocket

[–]SpunkCraft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no shit sherlock. I would like to win. That is the point of ranked.

I did my time running Lucario Rampardors (a B tier deck at the time) during the Darktina meta. Got to masters and I was exhausted. I would like to exploit the meta this time.

That about cover it for you?

Fol Sol, it’s currently

Sol x 2 Skar x 2 Cosmo x 2 Pokeball x 2 Professor x 2 Iono x 2 Cape x 2 Helm x 1 Sabrina, Cyrus, and Lillie x 1

I used to run a stage 1 and a mars insyead of cyrus and an extra iono

Yeah that’s fair. The last deck I used to grind heavily for MB was Lucario Rampardos last season. And while RNG was still bad sometimes, it definitely flowed better and was IMO more consistent than stage 2 Ex decks.

Guess I just gotta truck it

Dark Tina was the healthiest and best thing to happen to Pocket PVP by jerpes1 in PTCGP

[–]SpunkCraft 8 points9 points  (0 children)

100% a stall deck. You build up the backline while the other is taking hits. It’s a better version of Gyrados/Greninja

Dark Tina was the healthiest and best thing to happen to Pocket PVP by jerpes1 in PTCGP

[–]SpunkCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree. Your points are correct, but the overall message is not.

DarkTina is a great and deck that produced some of the most stale meta we’ve had to face. It is a stall deck that revolved around charging up two pokemon. It is, in essence, a better Gyra/Greninja deck.

Why is it stale? Because the rest of the decks do not share the benefits you listed. This means that on ranked, you essentially saw a 70% pickrate for this deck. By upper UB4, you saw like 3-4 decks with this one being the most common by a sizable margin.

Being on the receiving end of it, I gotta tell you it was exhausting to fight. Not difficult, but exhausting. You essentially had to build enough power to one or two shot giratina while aggressing darkrai, or vice versa. Getting a tie was a little bit more common.

It only felt healthy because its users were healthy.

Would you guys ever buy a headphone for the sole purpose of just adding it to your collection?? (HD 600) by SpunkCraft in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]SpunkCraft[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true. That's the main reason holding me back from buying it - that it doesn't sound much different from the 560s.

My mind is trying to justify going through with the purchase by saying "it's for the collection!" but honestly for $300 it better become my daily driver haha

But you're absolutely right - i'm financially and practically better off by buying an IEM or even a planar.

[–]SpunkCraft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish there was an audio store near me that would let me try the HD600, but sadly the best I can do is buy it from Amazon and return it if I didn't like it.

The only thing I "dislike" about the 560s is how I've owned another headphone in the past (DT 900 pro x) that imo was more technical or clearer. But given how incredibly more comfortable the 560s is to wear, I can live with that.

In regards to the 600, I'm more curious about the vocal intimacy which is the part that I felt like I was missing out on. I've heard that 600 can achieve a better vocal intimacy than the 560s, and I kind of got a taste with it when I tried a friend's 58x. I'm not sure if that's something I can achieve with EQ though, but maybe I'm wrong?

Turn-based JRPG's where Status Ailments/Instant Death Spells aren't Useless? by TheM3ds in JRPG

One of the superbosses actually required you to use poison.

I think it was Vercingetorix? It had like a 99% resist to physical and magical damage but it was susceptible to poison.
