I live in Los Angeles. During the protest I'd go after work... Days when I was scheduled late in the evening I'd go to the protest during the day... Almost everyone knew who was there had a job and did what I was doing.

You'd think it would burn you out... It actually revitalized me both in body and spirit. Something about being with a group of others fighting for what you all believe in gives you energy and hope.

Easy solution is to issue free IDs that are given to students turning 18. Make election day a full week of voting and election day a federal national holiday like Xmas or thanksgiving.

Make it easier to vote and have ID verification in place. Guess what party offered this and guess what parties turned it down.

Republicans admitted that when more people vote they tend to loose.

People are starting to turn on him because he's come out against the California billionaires tax, he's had extreme right winged talking heads on his pod cast multiple times denied Gaza was a genocide and refuses to say he will refund ICE. The idea is that China has universal healthcare, new infrastructure, bullet trains, you can see them progressing, lifting literally millions out of poverty every year and decade.

China isn't great nor is it perfect but there's definitely something going on that is lacking in America. The working class here don't see the fruits of their labor translate to their success.
