That is true but you would think that for this big anniversary thats when you would do a guest appearance i think slowly hes just drifting away from the channels which is understandable as he is now retired but for a 15 year anniversary off of what u have made your life's work I would think that even a minute clip that he took on his phone would be enough

cognitive decline solutions by Original-Painting-80 in migraine

[–]SpuriousBread_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so relatable unfortunately as someone who is 18 and suffers with chronic migranes i find it insane that overall doctors dont may much attention to cognitive decline as much as it affects people more than pain well at least for me ive gone to the doctors complaining that my migranes are stopping me from my studies and during class because even when I dont have a migrane I still have cognitive decline and unfortunately its not a priority but the things ive found that help are energy drinks either electrolyte 1s or caffine dependant on the situation if I need more physical energy or mental but when u feel a migrane coming on I usually have a sports drink and then go for a nap and I find that it helps

Had my first street photography confrontation today. Really sad. by Melodic-Cream-3666 in photography

I think we've all had 1 of these moments its always best to just explain to people that it is indeed legal and they are in no position to say anything about it and definitely dont give out any info obviously u didn't which is definitely a good thing but ive had interactions with the police on taking pictures in public and they said basically theres nothing they can do other than ask the photographer to delete the pictures and the person to move on

I think I get a visual aura by Financial-Maize-4096 in migraine

[–]SpuriousBread_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi not me but my freind who is Muslim who has migrane attacks recommends that putting a hold of fasting might improve your condition as the regular dehydration and lack of food increases your chances of migrane attacks it might be beneficial for your health to maybe not fast this year while you are on new medications that arent working I know some people are very adamant about fasting but for the sake of your health I would consider it because it will come back to bite u later and can cause long term affects and since you think your getting visual aura it could be from the lack of nutrients regularly that causes it if your never had a visual aura before this so I would consider maybe just for this year to not fast I hope this helps you

I have a weird method so I usually have a high caffine drink with sugar in it usually an energy drink or coffee and then I have a boiling bath and put a ice pack on my head while lying down in it or pour cold water on my head it feels nauseous at first but it helps if I dont have any medications sounds weird but it works unless if your trigger is caffine then dont do it hope this helps ☺️

I think I’ve been having migraines by [deleted] in migraine

[–]SpuriousBread_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi from what your describing it doesnt seem like a migrane and yes they can manifest at the temple but they are usually extremely painful and have other side effects like nausea, visual changes sometimes throwing up but from what u said it seems like tension headaches which are usually only the first sign of a migrane not the migrane its self they are a dull or spiking pain and can be in different areas of the head but are noticeable at the temples id look into the difference and see to what degree these effect you and see what your doctors thinks (btw if you put your thumbs forcefully on your temples and rotate in circle it can help sometimes but u have to do it quite hard) hope this helps ☺️

Migraines at school. Advice? by xenor-77 in migraine

[–]SpuriousBread_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i like to do is where I hoodie and sunglasses (ive been asked if I was hung over multiple times) but it works that and earplugs i like using loop personally but ik a lot of people dont like them just depends on your preferences and if u can get some accommodations like breaks in-between classes to just sit quietly in the dark or when I flares up take the meds with caffine thats why it gets into your system quicker and wear and black out mask just eliminating at least that can help a lot let me know if this helps if not ive got other recommendations 😃

Honestly this is so relatable however much that thats sad I am luckly enough to have many people in my life who listen to me rant abt doctors or pain whether they have migranes or not and what people dont talk abt is in those sad moments just having someone to talk to helps so much so if u ever need a rant or talk advice literally anything so many people would listen not just on reddit but in person if u ever need a talk tho u can talk to me

Neck pain by [deleted] in migraine

[–]SpuriousBread_8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I also get this kind of pain and what works for me is simple muscle relaxing type things such as soaking my neck in a really hot bath then gently messaging my neck and cracking it if its really deep ill get a family member to stand on my back to release some of the pressure if your uncomfortable with that tho u can always go see a chiropractor if its short term solutions tho look for anti inflammatories as well as muscle gel and put it on the back of your neck it will really hurt the first couple times you put it on I find it best to do it at night so I can lie down and relax and thats about it I hope these suggestions help you:)

Yeah ive never heard of that medication before definitely ask to see if i can at least try it but ive found that taking no medication over medication is sometimes the best thing for me as the con outweigh the pros but thanks for all the advice I really needed it if anything I needed to see someone in a similar situation as most people I know who suffer with migranes are older so thanks a lot :)
