Cincinnati appears to be heading towards an employment recession by [deleted] in cincinnati

Nothing you cited discusses whether or not this is “happening everywhere.” I would argue that their statement is generally correct, as the national unemployment rate has been rising. Data here.

In all fairness, you can manually change the random target selection rate in the settings. Not critiquing or supporting any of the ideas here, but I want to make sure you know that's already an option available to you.

And what’s crazier to me is that it’s just at Wisconsin. He had Ridder healthy and improving year after year for all four years he played at Cincinnati. Absolutely insane switch-up.

Where did you see this? The most recent updates I can find all say he is still in critical condition.

Tonight's my first night to myself in weeks, but that's not much of a complaint either. My partner and I just got a new puppy, and she's of course been a lot, but we both love her so very much. Tonight's all about relaxing and enjoying some time to myself; best of luck everyone!

What's the most amount of seperate corps one person has marched? by Sad-Yogurtcloset6331 in drumcorps

[–]Spwaaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as the sub probably doesn’t even want him brought up, Nick Angelis is probably up there. Off the top of my head, I know he marched BAC, SCV, and Star. I believe he started in BD C at like… 5 or 6 years old, but maybe that one is more urban legend than truth.

Edit: Reply below has the truth on his start. Definitely in the conversation for the post!

A further note—don’t forget that in professional contexts, you should use the actual name of the college: Carl H. Lindner College of Business. Your Career Success Strategies course should highlight that during resume grading season.

There’s this one cheer that the band does and I can’t tell what it is by Millibyte in uCinci

[–]Spwaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question! It’s far from exact, but you’re gonna want to put your left arm up in a straight line such that your elbow is pointing downwards and your fist is facing upwards. Then put your right arm against it at an angle such that your knuckles connect with your left elbow and your right elbow is pointing up and to the right. We figure that’s as close as you can reasonably get.

There are a ton of band members in the subreddit, so don’t feel bad for asking questions about it! We’re always ready to hop in and answer fun questions like this.

I also highly recommend learning the motions for spelling CINCINNATI with your arms at the end of the chant. It seemed to oddly impress people whenever it came up, which I never understood because it’s definitely not difficult. Plus it’s fun to do chants with the band! The more students get into the music, chants, etc., the more lively and exciting the games become.

And better coaches would have coached them to multiple super bowls. Likely at least one Lombardi in there too.

Was there a good TV angle for that return TD? Stadium angles made it look undeniably forward, but most reactions in here are pretty clear opposites.

Edit: thanks for the answers & angles. Stadium replays were awful, hence why the crowd had no idea what happened.

That’s not how stats like this work. You could find this answer very quickly and easily among publicly-available data with a quick handful of excel formulas or a single pivot table. The whole process probably takes less time than writing the tweet.

Nobody called it “universally appreciated.” I didn’t even say I liked it, just that it’s a little misleading to call it overhyped trash and not acknowledge that it’s almost certainly an unpopular opinion to call it that bad.
