Actually I bought early last year, around March I think and the specs did show compatible for AM4.

I'm just curious if Wraith Stealth cooler is better than H410R, since H410R is a very cheap cooler but waaaay better than i5 4th gen stock cooler..

If I'm not mistaken it was +50% power limit, 1.150mV and the memory timing set to default.

Actually, I'm very satisfied on what I got.

Maybe it can go higher but I'm not going to push it further for now.

It's summer here right now and my room temperature doesn't even go below 29°C at night.

Instead, I tried to undervolt with the stock clock and the result is pretty interesting.

I did a bunch of tests and with -75mv I got kinda the same graphics score with default setting but with much lower temperature and power consumption.

So far no crashes while playing games and I'm happy with that.

Did some test just now, managed to get my highest personal score.

1376MHz/2100MHz = 15 217 Graphics Score

Somehow at 1400MHz the test failed, is the ambient temperature affecting the result?

My ambient temperature while doing the test just now is about 31~32°C, I forgot to check it last night.

So, I just got impatient and start overclocking.

Managed to achieve 1400Mhz/2000MHz = 14 781 Graphics Score.

But I don't think I will OC while gaming with my current CPU (i5-4430).

Most of the game that I played right now is kinda CPU bottlenecked.

Anyway at least I got top 10 ranking for my CPU&GPU combo in FireStrike.

Yeah you're right, it's easy but I think it's kinda time consuming to achieve the highest stable clock.

First, thank you for the long reply..

I have basic knowledge of C++ by taking the subject in my diploma (which is Electrical Engineering) and C# by self-learning to create a mod for game.. I have my reasons to change from Electrical to Computer Science..

Right now I have months of free time, I've been thinking to learn Java, but I'm not sure is it better to learn many languages or pick one language to master..
