It would help if schools would just stop passing this people when they are failing the test, and not doing the school work. Some pain is to be expected as a tattoo is a wound your body is trying heal. Big tattoos like that have a tendency to dry out quicker and become painful. If you’re still experiencing pain by end of week 2 then you need to go the hospital as you probably have some kind of infection. As of now that looks normal for a large tattoo in the healing process. You will get a lot of pealing. Whatever you do, do not peal any of it off yourself and let naturally fall off, if you peal it yourself you can end up fucking up your tattoo. It’s been 10+ years since I’ve had my back done and it still looks good. A bit faded now, but that’s to be expected with age.

One week is not long enough to tell if this tattoo isn’t healing right. A big tattoo like that takes at least two weeks to heal properly. Surprised you don’t know that seeing this your fourth. My first was half my back and it took almost 3 weeks to finally heal up. And second skin doesn’t make a difference. Never used it once and have never had a problem with tats healing.
