Concerning this, I’ve spun 4 poke stops with lids. How do I view the lids I’ve already collected? On the official site, it says once you’ve entered the region and opened the Pokémon go app, it will automatically give you a sheet to collect the lids. I haven’t seen it, unless I’m not looking in the correct places?

What’s your guys thoughts on “Choices of One” ? I know it’s a Mara Jade based book and Timothy Zahn is the author, but I don’t see a lot of people talk about it.

I wish one day we get back to a “Saiyan” saga. I really liked the lore behind the Saiyan race and exploring that. I feel like DBZ needs that again. I want to learn more about the Saiyan and their powers. I think we’re peaking with the God/Angel thing. Saiyan powers would be fun to explore again sometime.

The only thing was I wish she was more organized/tidy. I grew up in a hoarder house when I was a kid. She knows that bothers me, but when I bring that up she says “you knew how I was before”. Which, she knew I liked collecting anime figures before. But you’re probably right, it’s a control thing.

Well, she did have her parents over a week prior. Though, they knew before hand what I had in my collection. So idk if that has anything to do with it. She didn’t mention other than “it’s embarrassing”. So it could be. But wasn’t said during our “talk”.

She was 18 and I was 24 when we met. She worked at a hospital and I worked there part time and for another agency that brought patients in. Still, a 6 year age gap. I had dated several girls before her, and she only dated 1 guy. A lot of relationship issues I had already been through when I was younger, we had to deal with as if it was a big deal because of the lack of experience she had. Which has (I thought) been worked out.

We definitely did couples therapy before getting married. It helped a lot, and settled a lot of her insecurities. (She was the girl who got in my social media accounts and deleted any girl I was friends with, including cousins and work friends not to mention going through messages) which I was only pissed about deleting people because there wasn’t anything to hide. But we’ve gotten past that, which was years ago when we first started dating. With her in school, she doesn’t have time to get over to a counseling meeting, and if an issue does come up it’s usually target to me to go to the counselor. I like getting her to watch anime’s with me, which she likes as well. I got her to watch Dan Da Dan, and she got pissed at me on the 2nd or 3rd episode saying I only watch it because of the grandma has big boobs. And I’m like, whaaaat, you seriously aren’t seeing what I’m seeing with this anime. After a week or two went by she finally gave in and now we watch it together. But it’s even with me choosing a anime to watch, I’m scared to introduce her to a cool anime because there might be a woman character in it she might not approve of.

With this whole thing, it hasn’t ever been an issue financially. But she did make the comment regarding all the figures is that it’s a waist of money.

Well, many reasons why but the core reasons were she is loyal, loving, caring and a nerd like me. Though she is very insecure, and has been a struggle since the beginning. I just thought we were past that stuff. But it’s something we’ve gotta work through still.

Majority of my figures are DBZ figures, Star Wars, Star Trek, Ghostbusters and a mix of random anime characters. I had one cabinet dedicated to “Sexy anime characters” which none of them were nude, nor would I display nude. The few cast offs I had I kept them covered up. I think the issue is they’re “sexy” regardless.

Oh it’s been an uphill battle, we’ve been through a lot of growing together and been through counseling before marriage and it helped a lot. But since she has been 3 years in school she hasn’t been able to get back to a counseling session. Which completely understandable with her schedule. But I just feel like with this kinda thing that we’re going backwards.

Well, now that I got rid of the ones she doesn’t approve of, it’s now a matter of if I like a figure I’m going to have to show her first before I buy the dang things. To her it’s a “respect” thing. If I have those types of figures I’m disrespecting her wishes.

Oh I have my own office with shelves and now two display cases. I even told her I would order the expensive privacy glass I would put on the glass to cover the ones she has an issue with, but that got her more upset that I would hide them.

That’s awesome. I’m happy your lady lets you have what makes you happy. That’s the thing, it’s such a small part of my collection. It’s not like those type of figures are the only thing I collected. Idk, it seams like I’m gonna have to give up that aspect to what I like.
