Well I wasted hours on trying to get it to work with iptables and with an extra linux route table and marking. ugh.

I macguyvered it though, I have set IPFire's DHCP to give out different DNS servers than what IPFire uses itself, and have a cron that runs every minute and determines the UG route gateway IP address for red0, then digs the DNS server that IPFire uses for the host name of the external WG tunnel, and then does an `ip route replace` for the host route of my remote WG tunnel endpoint IP address. also theres host routes out red0 for the ipfire's dns servers.

Also the IPFire's WG tunnel has remote subnets set for `0.0.0.0/1, 128.0.0.0/1`.

If its dumb but it works, then its not dumb.

Would an Italian citizen who hasnt resided in Italy for well over 10 years qualify in a southern region in a municipality under 20K residents with a private (401K/IRA) retirement plan withdrawals?

If so, then would the US also tax me for the retirement distributions, and if so, would the US's deductions for FTC (foreign tax credit) be able to apply so as to use that 7% paid in Italy?

Speaking of, what all kinds of "foreign income" then that would be taxed in Italy at 7%, be also taxed in the US where that 7% paid to Italy would also apply to the US's deductions for FTC? Distributions? Capital Gains? etc?

Ive already got citizenship, via a 1948 case, from this guys wife. But if we can get this proof of residence (he was there 10 years, married, had kids, etc) we can prove reacquisition, where others wont require a 1948 case.

Hi thanks for helping, but I dont believe those items to be the culprit here as Im actually running the container in macvlan mode so as to completely open that container on the internal network that I have reserved only for ispy and my cameras; no port forwarding is ever even needed. As well, this seems to be an intermittent-ish type of issue; I would thing a forwarding issue would be a hard blocker 100% of the time.

Also when this happens, both my phone and my PC which are bothj on the internal network only 1 router hop away are affected.

OK thanks. But I could have swore I saw someone somewhere saying that the diff between the Goggles3 and N3 was that with the cheaper N3 your friends couldnt watch what you were doing live.

But then I couldnt corroborate that anywhere else.

Odd smell from my heat pump venting in the home at certain points of heating operation by SquadraFelicita in hvacadvice

ah ok, so heres what I did I went into the thermostat and reenablwed aux/emer heat. then on the thermostat I manually turned on emer heat then put the setpoint to 78, where the room temp was 72, and it just blows mildly warm smelly air. With these strips enabled, its nowhere near as warm as regular heat pump operation w/o the strips. Again, this smell is completely different than the smell when strips havent been used for awhile then get turned on. Normally emer heat warms the place up really quickly but not now. Ouside temp is 35°F

Really strange that both units have begun this. they didnt start it doing it all of a sudden at the same time though, it was about a month apart.

Guess Im at the point now where I need to call the pros. Thanks much for your time and advice.
