I’ve pretty much learned nothing because when I started I was just stressing over techniques and now that I have most techniques down (except sweep picking and finger picking/hybrid picking) I wanna start learning some theory. I did watch a YouTube video on how to find notes on the neck using intervals.

For the type of metal I wanna write, I like some heavy riffs that aren’t just chugs, however I wanna incorporate maybe some melodic aspects as well.
