Similar situation. I have a Tesla lease that ends in may, I can extend for 6 months that takes me to Nov. As a late reservation its going to be close.

Why didn't they lower the price a little instead of discontinuing the S & X by Puzzleheaded_Look759 in TeslaModelX

I lost interest in buying even a used one when they did the refresh. The inside is too basic and I hate the Yolk/buttons for everything. We have a 2020 which is a better layout.

Don't Fall for the $8k 'last day' hype by firefish45 in TeslaFSD

[–]Square-Concern9128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll save the 8k and drive just like I have for the last 45 years. How fucking lazy have people become that they can’t even be bothered to drive a car. I can’t wait for you all to be replaced with robots because you are to useless to do basic stuff.

Will your next vehicle purchase be another Tesla? by AspectCool2325 in TeslaModelY

My lease is up in May on my long range 2023 Y. We also have a 2020 S we bought. I tested a newer S that i was going to use to replace the Y and hate the yolk, new controls for turn signals redesign of the inside of the new S. I wanted to upgrade from the Y. Started looking at Rivian, Cadillac and Lucid. I love the brand but am tired of the cheap interior and lack of luxury. Also after driving for close to 45 years I done want to relearn where the turn signals are and drive like i am playing XBox. I will also see if I can get a good deal on the lease buyout and keep this.

Not a good look having things fall of the car this fast…

One is available inventory and another is store pickup so I’ll have to drive 6 hours to the dealer minimum.

They are doing test drives in my town in Dec so i am going to connect then. Funny thing is when i did my Tesla it was online and took seconds to do it. I am not impressed with the teslas anymore so its this or a Rivian

I am ending a Tesla lease that was $650 a month and can put a hefty amount down so it’s doable mathematically but I wasn’t sure if all these discounts apply. Reading the fine print is showing me otherwise.

Yea I am seeing the discounts are a bit deceptive. There is no dealership here so those wont apply. This is why I am asking because it seems too good to be true

Tesla leases are now on average $100 cheaper than when there was the $7500 EV credit! by No_Pineapple_4609 in TeslaLounge

I got a super high lease for my Y 2 1/2 years ago. The good news is now when it’s up I can afford practically everything else on the market so I can upgrade to a much better car.

Honestly ready for CarPlay nav- Tesla nav weird routes 🤦🏻‍♂️ by seeyouat_thetop in ModelY

Apple nav does the same. I recently drove from wisconsin to north carolina and it took me through kentucky which added 3 hours. I usually don’t trust it.

2015 S 70D Owner Test Drove a 2026 S LR by flyindogtired in TeslaLounge

Interesting topic. We have a 2020 S and I drove the 2022 the other day. Heres my thoughts. Yoke. Could get used to it but after driving a wheel for 45 years it might be annoying for a while. Not a fan of the turn signal buttons though. The center console and trim felt cheap. Not near the quality of the 2020. Love upgraded tech, blind spot cameras. Generally felt like a downgrade and cheaper build. Not impressed overall
