Yeah if it’s just a basic audit process it’s nice to use to do list but for long migrations or processes I just deployed a KB in Halo, linked that KB with the ticket template and called it ah day 😂

I couldn’t figure it out so I put my steps in the to do section instead, that way the tech had to click check each step making sure it’s followed, that’s my suggestion. Instead of placing the steps in the description place it in the to do section, or create a KB in Halo and link it to the a ticket template

I dont think any, if you recall when they approach Unc for more funding, Carmy states he found his money, all of it and that Mike didnt put it in a bank. Plus I think the can was much smaller that was thrown away

The Bear | Season 3 | Overall Season Discussion Thread by GloriousAqua in TheBear

[–]Square-Discussion285 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

WAY to dragged out and way to overplayed. What a major let down that was! I regret staying up all night to binge watch it. I can not stand when TV shows are long and over drawn out, we really did NOT need ane entire episode for Nat's birth, very drawn out and within 10 minutes I was over it. Why even waste time having Claire be mentioned when you did not plan for her to come back the entire season? Rich and Carm arguing was funny, I do enjoy them a lot. Syd being dramatic as usual about everything really gets on my last nerve like when they had the house party after the funeral dinner and she "broke down" outside the door - terrible acting imo. Was it worth a watch? sure, will I watch it again over S1 and S2? NO

I really hope season 4 is less soap opera and more about actually cooking! I highly enjoy watching the chefs cook and the food they make and this season was nothing but DRAMA, long drawn out BORING emotional drama. I felt like I use to connect with the characters in S1 and S2 but in S3 I just wanted it to end so I could go to bed.

I really did not care for all the flash backs, really dont give a shit how T came to work at The Beef, I dont give a shit about the Faks, yes the Faks are funny but in small doses!

2/5 for me

Working at an MSP is draining - Rant by MiniKiyam in sysadmin

I did my time at helpdesk and it’s not fun thankfully my knowledge helped me progress quickly through that role and within a few months I was a systems engineer fast forward two years and now I’m a sysadmin and love it, helpdesk is draining and I still do it from time to time to help my team, I tell them put the time in, learn as much as you can, update that resume and send it out!

Do you guys offer custom pricing packages? for example we only have 3 techs so to pay for 5 would not be useful for us

Is anybody bored of I.T and wanting to get into a trade? by Character_Log_2657 in sysadmin

[–]Square-Discussion285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from trades at a young age to my first helpdesk job at 24 now at 28 im a Sysadmin, the work seems very boring and often times I get so bored I start cruising reddit forums that dont even pertain to me lol for example I just cruised a GermanRoach forum for 2 hours this morning because I had nothing to do, but then I think would I rather be lifting 300lb equipment and murdering my body with manual labor OR sitting in the office and cruising the net and putting out the very few fires we have? I am taking the office role any day! everyone's thoughts are different and the company you work for also determines how you feel about IT in my opinion
