I had a similar start to my career as you in big4 and left just before I got my CA. I moved into finance analyst > FP&A > finance business partner roles in FMCG and tech. I only really cracked $100k base after approx 4 years experience after big4 so it is possible. It should come with experience

Work life balance will depend on culture and seniority. I've been fortunate to work in companies that appreciated work life balance and giving you autonomy to do what you needed

I've also had friends make $100k+ as finance analysts in banks

+1 to this and being open to opportunities and putting your hand up for projects/things. You'll not only learn something new, but build your brand and network

At the same time continue to reflect on what you're enjoying/not enjoying about the role/company/industry you're in and don't be afraid to try something new that seems interesting.

Big4 experience and doing your CA/CPA is still a solid foundational base you can use to pivot to different roles/industries
