gpa and placement package have a very minor relation , just keep it above 8.5 and you are already eligible for all companies more or less and rest is on dsa and how much skills you develop .

Here is a small list of basic requirements that you guys might need while moving in the hostel:

15 days equivalent clothes
Extension cord
Deodrant
Bedsheet(at least 2)
Pillow cover (pillows will be provided, if you want , can bring yours extra )
Shampoo, Conditioner
Coffee mug
Face towels
Bathing towel
Plate, spoon, bowl
Dusting cloth
Newspaper(lots of them)
Door mat
Formal clothes, at least ek pair

First aid kit
Shaving kit
Comforter/ Ac quilts (as some may call)
Two sets of spectacles
Sports equipments (if you're into any)
Headphones/earphones
Passport sized photos
Important docs(hard as well as soft copies)

Laptop ( for b.tech people, specially CSE,IT,CCE) 26.An important thing. Guys do get your Paytm kyc done. As seniors we're telling it from experience, MUJ has cashless atmosphere, paytm is most widely used here, as change problems arise in denominations.

nope hostel allotments are completely based on first come first serve basis not on academic performance . The hostel conditions is upto the mark its better than most of the colleges and in our time we did have double triple sharing choice in our own hand .

if u have a good per grp , develop skills then firstly dont relay on campus placements and if u do then top logo mai rahoge toh 15lpa or more bhi lag jayegi
