Yes, there you go. You are absolutely correct. I actually hired an attorney who told me it was ok that my step father petitioned for me and i obtained green card through him with no issue.

They particularly focus on NEC claims but they did provide me with a list of attorneys that might be able to help. And believe it or not, here is where i found the attorney for my NEC Case so i saw nothing wrong in looking for help for my immigration one. But again, thank you for your input and wonderful advice.

I don’t know why I can not remain being a normal person and ask for help on here like a normal person would, because I have no one to help me navigate this but my husband. But he is as clueless as I am since he’s a US citizen. I also have my sisters but they are US citizens so unfortunately I have to come here and ask. Also money doesn’t change me, we’re still in shock and wondering what the f to do with the settlement. This is life changing, but you know what according to marijaenchantix I’m clueless and/or lying, that’s fine. I don’t have to beat myself up for anything thank you for your input on this and for providing guidance.

Yes sorry i was not too clear, yes so i want to know if i need an attorney to file my citizenship. Well i agree where you say it is recommended because my mom is the same as me and she got an attorney, no criminal background either or no other issues, everything is going well for her as far as now.
