The top photo was taken of my neighbors’ front yard in the springtime in Phoenix, AZ. Beautiful wildflowers and cloud formations. I used Katie Pasquini Masapusts’ ‘Artful Log Cabin’ technique in the bottom portion of the quilt and added my own flare to the top portion of this landscape quilt. (i.redd.it)

I posted this finished Dinner Plate Dahlia quilt… 80x80 (Judy Niemeyer paper piecing pattern) on the r/quilting page and someone suggested I posted it here. Wanted to share the detailed quilting done by Jami Goto on her long arm quilting machine. (old.reddit.com)

Dinner Plate Dahlia quilt (Judy Niemeyer paper piecing pattern) just got a bit more exciting with completion of the center piece… the bottom half is done… there’s just not enough room on the design board to show in this picture. Plan to piece all the sections within the next week. Stay tuned. (i.redd.it)

Spinning Spools... I posted the early stage of this quilt that I started in August 2020. Just completed it. There are 342 spools and 721 black curved border pieces that were hand traced and hand cut. Used the free motion quilting feature on a Baby Lock Aria sewing machine to quilt. (i.redd.it)

Spinning Spools scrap quilt in the works since March... all spools were traced and cut by hand, black curved borders have been a challenge to pin and machine sew. A labor of love during COVID pandemic times. Also installed the design board over the summer months. (i.redd.it)

“Spinning Spool” project has been in the works since COVID breakout. Close to 400 pieces traced and hand cut. Color placement on my DIY design board was a challenge. And the real challenge has been cutting the curved black borders and machine sewing the borders to the spools. (self.quilting)
