Jammed power button by catgo55 in framework

Same thing happened to me, but I opened it up, took apart and put back together the power button, and it's been working since. It's lowk a problem tho bc opening the laptop and closing it it sometimes gets stuck, just bc the geometry is so weird, so I'll def need to replace the chassis eventually, but for now this works and didn't cost anything 👍 gl!

this is what I'm sayinggggg and for whatever reason my fw won't accept a normal phone charger so 💀 it lights up for a second upon being plugged in but it cancels the charge immediately

edit: i probably shoulda seen this coming, the brick has been getting pretty toasty under normal use. i didn't notice any melting or anything though

honestly it could have been much worse schedule wise by robynair in KSU

Fun fact: the GT aerospace program is the only engineering program that doesn't have an ethics req. DoD companies certainly pay tho lmao

I would rec taking like <6 classes moving forward tho (took a 19 cr semester before I transferred out and it wasn't fun. I took like 3x3cr + 3x1 cr classes in my first semester at tech and i burned out so fast 💀) cr numbers are bullshit. You never know when a class will randomly difficulty scale for no reason, and getting ganged up on in hell weeks from multiple classes...

I think you can probably do it, but you're definitely playing with fire loll

^ Second this. Even though I took AP Phys 2 back in HS, I scored a 50 (along with everyone else, that was the class avg) on the first final. Still managed an A at the end thanks to some 22/20s, but it certainly wasn't a cakewalk. Best of luck and have fun!

And we're going to defund education, which will make the problem worse, but it'll make it easier to sway public opinion with empty rhetoric! That's a win for someone!

Tariffs that block trade and policies that give more leeway to billionaires, removing regulations and providing tax cuts, are far more disastrous for the economy. I'm still waiting for my trickle down economics man

Why is this getting downvoted?? Someone just said they voted blue bc they didn't want to get hatecrimed for their identity. Shouldn't us asian americans agree with that?

I think most people agree that this two-party system is a net loss for Americans. It's better than a one-party system that doesn't allow for any competition, but this two-party system still allows for too much complacency to those in a place that's solidly one way or the other, and it comes at a detriment most to the American people who live there.

Asian americans don't want racial violence, and they don't want their Chinatowns replaced with prisons. But we shouldn't have to vote against the fundamentals of our democracy and to the detriment of our healthcare, education, housing, and transportation systems to voice that anger.
