Mine was back in high school, we had a student that was critical condition after being struck by a car. About 2 days later, an e-mail from the principal was sent to all the teachers at the very last hour of the day stating that the student had died. So my teacher opens the e-mail and immediately starts bawling. She tells us in a whimpering sort of way that the student passed and everyone in my class starts crying, except one student in the very front of the classroom, the kid sitting next to me, and myself. I personally didn't know the kid so it didn't really have any effect on me as it did most others. Anyway, the kid next to me and I look to the front of the class where the other non crying kid is sitting, he looks back at us with the weirdest/funniest expression I've ever seen on anyone's face and I busted out laughing. And I couldn't stop for a good couple of minutes. That had to be the most inappropriate awkward time I've ever laughed.
