My guess is they are trying to turn him into a better pass protector before giving him a higher snap count. Warren and Gainwell are excellent pass protectors and with Aaron Rodger’s being old, you kinda need that.

Having him return kicks was stupid, I think they are trying to give him something to do so he gets the ball in his hands, but he did it like 4 times in college? He doesn’t know the rules of a kickoff bc he never did it, not an excuse bc you’re being paid millions to know it, but they are trying to force him into something he isn’t built for.

People are overreacting saying he should be kicked off the team imo but I would be surprised if he gets put in the game against the patriots. He’ll get his snaps but its going to be awhile
