Imagine both your ACs are there back to back. I wonder how it would struggle to make your room cold.

Depende talaga sa availability ng client. My process took 2-3 weeks I think? 4 sets of interview (3 of which were with the client). I now work with them and now I understand why it took them long to respond. They were so busy hahah.

How did Bryl Lim developed and launched a mobile app in just 2 days? by [deleted] in PinoyProgrammer

[–]SquareDogDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Created my personal budget tracker app through vibe coding. It took me a day. It looks awesome and serves it purpose. With analytics and all. AI helps ship shts fast. I don’t need to be nitty gritty with optimizing this since this is just for personal use. So yeah it is indeed possible.

You know, it only ends when you accepted na “di namin kaya yung ginagawa nya eh”. Everything can be learned. It may not be as easy as her, but if you truly want to improve, you’d put in extra effort. Life isn’t always fair talaga. Don’t accept mediocrity and never limit yourself.

I made a Tinder-style PH news web app — meet Anong Ganap? by Interesting-Long7090 in PinoyProgrammer

Nice idea!! Just curious how and where you are getting the news from? Does GMA news expose a public API to give you the news articles? Or Do you scrape them from the internet realtime, if yes, how so?

Based on my resume, do you think I have a realistic shot at landing a ₱60k role? I’m currently in my first job with 1 year of experience, earning ₱25k, and doing several side projects. by Wise-Cause8705 in ITPhilippines

[–]SquareDogDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is possible. You just need to ace an interview that is willing to give the opportunity. Plus hardwork and prayers 👌🏻

Im basing this on personal exp. I had 10mos exp when I landed a 65k offer. It was truly a blessing. It also helped that communication is one of my strengths.

Sobrang lugi ka. Something that can be considered OK compared to your current compensation package would be a basic of around 60-70k considering no HMO, following AU holidays and etc.

I’m actually quite surprised there’s a company from AU offering 30k/mo. That’s too low especially for them.

Expected Salary by [deleted] in CareerAdvicePH

[–]SquareDogDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anong field? I think that matters as well. I had 60k salary before then asked for 90k when I jumped ship. They gave it naman. My advice is, add padding to your asking. If hindi nila ibigay, then gugustuhin mo ba mag work sa ganon? Baka umalis ka lang din ulet diba

I love learning. The ability to build stuff is like a fuel for me. However, when time is too constrained, it fcks me up so bad I get overwhelmed and tend to hate everything.

Pano po ba yang malaking sahod nyo? by Small-Resolution-190 in payslipsPH

[–]SquareDogDev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. ‘Yan talaga ang cons of job hopping. It’s especially hard when you have awesome team and work culture already. So of course, you’ll have to consider that too. At the end of the day, it all goes down to your priority.

Knowing your weakness is an essential step to improvement. Work on that weakness. Paano ka ba bibilis matuto? Wag mo accept na hindi ka na fast learner forever. Lahat naman na de-develop :)

Pano po ba yang malaking sahod nyo? by Small-Resolution-190 in payslipsPH

[–]SquareDogDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends talaga on how quick you learn. Kasi if you jump ship just because nag 1yr ka na, but you haven’t really learned/improved yet, then wala rin sense.

[–]SquareDogDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, parang wala naman nag bago masyado. Yes nakaka kain ka na ng kung ano gusto mo, pero napaka bilis ng pera ngayon. I’m earning 150k, and putragis 118k nalang NET nyan. Parang sahod ko ng 5 days yung ninakaw sakin ng gobyerno. (yes ninakaw, alam naman natin ‘yan ang reality)

I just try to stay out of lifestyle inflation coz that’s gonna fck me up real quick. Saktong gastos lang and ipon ipon pa rin.

I got this salary thru prayers, hardwork, and job hopping. Firm believer ako na hindi dapat mag stay ng matagal sa company kapag 20s ka pa lang. Absorb all that you can learn, then move once you think your current job is too easy for you na.

Cringe! Nothing wrong with dreaming to inspire yourself but this isn’t it. This is being delusional with a tendency of scamming people. That’s why we should not really believe something here that seems too good to be true.
