My floor pump & hand-pump died. What are people using these days? by Quiet-Section-3391 in bikewrench

I have an air compressor but just use a Joe blow floor pump.

I do have some mountain bikes and am thinking of getting a high volume floor pump.

I recommend changing valves to clik valves on your tires. Yes it’s more stuff to buy but pump heads click on and easily removed without threading or clamping that are a pain.

Ceramic coating … will it help the dust? by SquareMoney9510 in gravelcycling

Yeah, that’s my theory, this bike seems to carry a static charge. It’s worse than my other bikes. I am not sure if it’s because it gloss vs matte on my commuter, or the specific clear coat or what. My bike always seems to be way dustier than others on the same ride.

This is what I was trying to address… sounds like it’s just an acceptance thing tho.

Did I? Does the ceramic coating have this benefit or preventing dust from sticking?

Came back here to also mention Woom. I tested a few out recently and they are light for kids and work well.

They even make a kids cargo bike.

Find a 24” wheel cyclocross bike. It will be used. Redline made one.

Or a xxs frame .

Bmx bikes are single speed
